So expensive!Not sure what caused the massive increase in prices but it is no longer a restaurant I would take guests.Whenever I have out-of-towners visiting, and they ask for tex-mex, I recommend El Tiempo. I explain they have some great options especially their BBQ (Parillada).Weeknight around 7pm. Walked in with a guest and there were no more than 10 people in the other restaurant (compared to previous visits where the place is beyond busy, that should have been a warning!)....
This is a good El Tiempo - I went to meet an old friend here on a Tuesday evening, so it's understandable the atmosphere wasn't there!With that said, the beef fajitas were lovely - I was a little disappointed in the flavor and finish of their skinny margarita (which I had talked up to my friend from out of town) - but the frozen one afterwards was pretty good!If you're in the Woodlands and looking for Tex-Mex - this is right up there!
Food was very good and the presentation was excellent. The service was on point, but the restaurant was really empty for dinner. Part of that could be due to the fact that the prices are incredibly expensive.
