The food here at Killen’s is awesome. This is seriously the best BBQ here in the Spring Woodlands area. Oh my goodness the BBQ is awesome here seriously the Turkey is always so juicy and flavorful with the perfect seasoning, the sausage is excellent, I am not a big brisket fan and I had a taste and I was shocked it was the best brisket I’ve ever had it was super moist. The sides are awesome the Mac & Cheese is super creamy and cheesy, my potato salad is so good and my husband said his baked beans were great. Overall I would highly recommend coming here for your BBQ Fix!

You pick your food and pay at counter at the end of the line. The BBQ meats I had were good: brisket was really good (but not great), the turkey was moist and well made and nicely, thickly cut. The sides were also good: collard greens, mac & cheese, the pickles and especially the pickled onions!Steer clear of their chicken fried steak: it was better to look at than to eat. The meat was very chewy. But, then again, why on earth would you get chicken-fried steak at a BBQ joint?

Today was my first visit and everything went perfect.Friendly and speedy service.Prices seem reasonable. The brisket tacos has A LOT of brisket in them.Sides: you have to get the Brussel sprouts and broccoli rice.Staff was very helpful and accommodating to requests like to go bbq containers. The only negative mark is they were out of sweet tea.The atmosphere is very casual.Staff said bye on the way out. Very friendly.

You will like it. But stick to the traditional BBQ, sides and Fried food. Burger was the most well done piece of meat since attempt 1 in college. I’m not even sure how that was possible. Also if u ever go to Minute Maid park Killen’s, don’t go early and don’t wait too long. 2nd inning is when freshest (hockey puck buns before then) and pass on the nachos. They can’t figure it out. Was good 0 of 4 attempts.

I tried this place for lunch and I’m so happy I stopped here. I’ve been looking for a good barbecue in Houston and I found a couple places, but this has been the best thus far. The brisket was on point tender flavorful. The sausage was good. The mash potatoes were great. The macaroni and cheese was just macaroni and cheese. The ribs were a little bit tough, however. They have three different sauces. I only tried the sweet, it was a little thin but it had good flavor. The price was slightly higher than the other places. I’ve been $24 for three meat plate. The restaurant was clean. The service was friendly I’ll definitely be back thank you.

The brisket was excellent and spot on today. I wish mine was as good. Manager was nice too.

We had a super great time at Killeen’s today. The food was just amazing and the staff was really really helpful. Hats off to Alicia, Brandon and Allen

Moist brisket was delish. Broccoli cheese casserole had a twist with thinly sliced mushrooms. I didn't like the regular sausage.I'd go back for the brisket.

Excellent is brisket! The bread pudding melts in your mouth! Timing is everything, there was no line when we arrived!

Went there with the family last night at about 6:45pm. They close at 8pm.No Mac and cheese, no creamed corn, no coleslaw. They tell you this after they put the $20+ a pound meat on your plate.I understand not wanting to prepare a new tray toward closing but over an hour out from closing and who knows when they ran out (could of been hours earlier), it’s a pretty penny to pay for for meat and none of the sides you enjoy. Thankfully, a clerk found a side of creamy coleslaw I could have. Also, why were all the lights off in the parking lot? They looked closed pulling in and it was pitch black out there.

Never a bad meal at Killen's. From the brisket to the half a chicken all the way to the candied burnt ends all of their offerings have been great. I highly recommend the macaroni and cheese for a side as it cannot be beat. If your kids enjoy Kraft macaroni and cheese they probably will not like the macaroni and cheese at Killen's as it is crafted for adult taste and not kids. The candied burnt ends are worth the money and you can't go wrong with that item. They also offer three types of sauce to ensure you will not only enjoy every bite of bbq from Killen's, but you will savor every bite and come.back for more.

Good barbecue but I wouldn’t call it amazing. We tried the moist brisket and the pulled pork. We also had the Brussels sprouts which did stand out as fantastic. I recommend those.

So glad Killen's decided to bring their barbecue to The Woodlands! I was craving BEEF ribs, which is hard to find around here, and Killen's kills it! The beef ribs were sooooo tender and delicious! My sister enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich, my niece loved her beef ribs, as well, and my friend raved about the chicken. The area of opportunity we agreed on is in seasoning... we needed to add salt to most of our sides. We tried the greens, Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, corn, and the ginormous onion rings. After adding salt, the sides were really good. The bread pudding was outstanding!Service was very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Thank god for Killen's in Woodland! No need to drive over an hour at their other location and wait in line to get some delicious BBQ. I came here with one other person for lunch. We ended up just sharing a 3 meat plate of brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. It came with two sides so we got coleslaw and Mac n cheese. Everything was good. I love that they gave you two thick slices of brisket. I wish they gave us more pulled pork though. But everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and had lots of flavor. Our meal also came with pickles, onions, jalapeños and two slices of toast. For sauces, they offer their tangy, sweet, and coffee BBQ sauce. My favorites are the tangy and coffee, but tangy is the best one in my opinion. Our 3 meat plate with 2 sides was around $25. I'm not sure why some people on here complaining about price. I didn't think that was bad at all. If you want a full rack of ribs its $43. But lots of meats. The inside of this place is super casual but clean. You can see what you are ordering and you pay first. They will bring it out to you when it is ready. Parking is easy since they have their own private lot. I cannot wait to come back when we are visiting.
