We reported at the checkout the presence of a bug flying on the pastries, but no action was taken by the personnel. We informed the issue to the manager and all she said was “thank you”This is a food safety issue as the bug was stepping on the pastries in the display.

I sat down at a first table (one in the front room with fireplace in the corner next to the window) and there 7 ants crawling all over it ……. Kinda gross - so I moved to the table catty-corner to it in the same room and this table is SUPER lopsided - and there was a piece of fried chicken glued to the chair - I tried to tip the chair over to get it to fall off and it didn’t even budge - GLUED. And I’m in here about 2P - quite a bit after the lunch rush (and they’re dead with plenty of workers in here) … tried to give good descriptors so management can get rid of the ants and fix the crooked tableFood was typical - the chicken on my Caesar wasn’t heated anymore which made me sad, but I don’t think that’s bad service, just menu change - still tastes good and is fresh!

Their food quality is going downward recently. We tried their sandwiches and Salmon plate. Sandwich bread was stale and cold and salmon was not fresh and a bit smelly….

Couldn't give a zero. The food was good but truly terrible service. This guy named Fransico refused to give me the free pastry's they were handing out even though my friends and me all bought something, He gave me horrible attitude until I finally got my pastry. Cookie was good tho. Also felt very cramped inside the tables were way too small.

Ordered French Onion soup, they topped the soup with 2 toasted pieces of what i think Baguette bread BUT THEN...put some kind of grated cheese on top and passed it to me! I I asked then to put it under the broiler, but NO! I MAKE this dish and a key part is to put a healthy slice of Gruyere cheese on top of the bread and put it under the broiler. I said no thanks got a Quiche and it tasted BLAND, no seasonings at all. I hate to say it but I think I will NOT be back. So disappointed in the quality and, the manager was so rude.. Nope, never again!

Restaurant is great, however this message is for the customers who want to use Uber eats. Public announcement: DO NOT USE UBER EATS FOR THIS SURROUNDING AREA. I was unable to screenshot the first driver assigned to pick up my order from this location, but driver picked up the order and took it for their own lunch by canceling the order. Although the restaurant is still paid for the order and had politely explained the situation to me where the first driver picked up the order, and had 7 total drivers reassigned to come in for the nonexistent order for the 7th driver to finally just cancel the order. I do not want Ubereats to take advantage of restaurants and customers. I’m glad the restaurant did not waste their inventory to keep remaking my order, but for smaller businesses who want to satisfy their customers and rely on delivery drivers, this is not fair. REMOVE shady UBER EATs drivers. I would’ve picked up my order from this nice location but it was an out of town order as a gift. So don’t call me lazy.

Good service. It wasn't too busy and we didn't have to wait. Everyone enjoyed the food.

Haven’t been here in years - I got the chicken Caesar sandwich - very little chicken and a lot of sauce; and the French onion soup with no cheese or croutons ( definitely had cheese ) the coffee is good ? - maybe this issue here is the food isn’t freshly prepared. It is all made and then sits waiting for you to order it; somethings like soup that’s fine but ..

What to do when it's a chilly 42 degrees, windy and rainy outside? Bundle up and go to La Madeleine. Complete with a roaring fireplace to sit next to! I literally forgot about this little gem located on the edge of Marketplace. Parking was not easily available especially at lunch time so walking quite a distance was no fun. Walk in, stand in line and grab a menu. Or better yet just order the "sampler" you get a choice of a few items including their signature Tomato Basil Soup. I had the cranberry, walnut chicken salad...soooo good! The couscous kale salad...soooo good! And of course a cup of some warm delicious soup! A bargain for less than $11. Go now!

This is the most horrible restaurant I have ever been too. Everyone that worked there had an attitude. The service was absolutely horrific. It was dirty, no ice and the food was terrible too much salt.

Went yesterday for a good order, took them a long time to serve me. Order 2 large soups and other, upon been back at the office realized the soups were not finished I guess with large potatoes chunks and watery. I returned them both to the store by my house and got the good one I use to order. The almond croissant I also bought was uncooked, liquid inside … what happened?

I'm always happy with my breakfast. It comes out quickly and tastes great. They come around to see if you need anything and clear away used dishes. I usually have the latte which is divine! And lastly, the ambience it's like a French country house there's even a little fireplace. Love, love love it!!
