I had begun visiting this restaurant early 2024 a friend introduced it to me and I visited often with no problems, even bringing others and my daughter really enjoyed it. The owners are Hispanic and upon conversing with Alex it’s my understanding that they had only been here in the U.S. about a year at the time and only owned the restaurant about a year at the time.
I ordered the Vietnamese coffee on several different occasions. Apparently the language barrier is an issue. Each time I asked for a refill they would say no refill I repeatedly explained that I understand and don’t mind paying, but apparently each time I visited it just wasn’t understood that I understand refills are not free and that I’m more than happy to pay..
On another occasion. I’m sitting in a booth having lunch with my daughter when a family member of the owners come in with two small children and sit in the booth directly behind me. The little boy about 2 or 3 the mother told me is kicking my seat for a good five minutes before I finally politely turn around and ask the mother to stop the child from kicking the back of my seat. Then of course the family/ owners rush over to speak to the women in Spanish never once apologizing to me. Upon leaving I made small talk with the mom as to say be polite.
My final straw came when again I visit with my daughter for lunch. This time we order a Vietnamese coffee and smoothie. I tried to be polite and make conversation with the waiter who i could tell was not interested in talking from the previous incidents. When Alex brings our food out Finally, he sets it on the table behind him instead of placing the food in front of us. Just as I’m noticing flies flying over our food the gentleman seated behind us advised me that there were flies in our food. That’s when I noticed the flies feasting off of the food. When Alex came back to the table he tries to serve us the food. I told him flies were in the food he smiles and continues to place the food down. When I again tell him flies were in the food and we are not eating it he tells me “You know what , it’s always something with you. “ At this point I felt completely disrespected and belittled. We proceed to the counter to pay for our drinks. The owners are again speaking in Spanish. Not one apology but I get a look of pity from a Spanish customer who was checking out around the same time when she saw me in the parking lot. Which makes me wonder what they said but I’m sure it’s best not to know. Apparently sanitation is not their strong point. I won’t be back!!!!

Felt very welcoming as soon as my family and I walked into this establishment. Saul was absolutely awesome, professional, and very helpful. Food came out so fresh and delicious! We came from conroe to check them out and it definitely worth the drive for us. 10 out of 10 ?????
it saddens me so much to leave this review because I grew up with this being my favorite restaurant. they used to have great Vietnamese food and I would tell my friends all about it. Unfortunately, the times I have been within the past few years the service has been beyond disappointing. However, I was able to deal with it because I loved their food (which has also gone downhill). However, my past visit is what pushed me to write this review. I placed an order to go via phone call as I usually do. It sounded like there was a bit of confusion, so I made sure I heard my order back and repeatedly spelled my name out. When I arrived, I said I was here to pick up my order and once again they sounded confused and were talking amongst themselves in Spanish. They didn't inform me about the status of my order but my friend who accompanied me (who speaks Spanish) told me that they gave my order to a grub worker and that they were going to try to get it back to so they could give it to me. I understand that mistakes can be made and I can look past that, however, not owning up to them or even informing me that there is even an issue with my food is beyond frustrating and terrible customer service. I was also stunned that they even considered to give me back the same food that had been passed along already. I only received an apology when I made it know that I knew what they said about the incident. I unfortunately don't think I'll be able to return after this experience
