We recently ordered take-out from Lucky Cafe. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious. My combination Pho was delicious, fresh and so much , I made two meals out of the order.... My husband enjoyed his combination Bun Bowl. We will be ordering from here again... much better food than when we tried this restaurant several years ago! The website is beautiful and very easy to use....Excited, because it is close to home and no need to deal with I-45 traffic. Our order was prepared and ready when we arrived... Thanks for offering excellent food and service...

The food has declined. I haven't been in a while. Today I ordered the grilled chicken rice plate. The chicken was dry with not much flavor. The plate was mostly rice.

Food was very odd. Fried rice was not that good very little taste. The chicken was way overcooked the sauce was some strange, thick, orange gelatin. Definitely will not be back here. It’s a damn shame. I was hoping this place would be good.

I miss this place so much!! Small little cafe....hidden in a neighborhood, off a main vein. When I'm back in The Woodlands, I TRY MY BEST TO GO. It's absolutely a hidden gem.The pho seafood noodle soup is my go-to...with a spring roll. It's enough for 2 meals.

Unfortunately I had a not so great experience here. Ordered a takeout order online and arrived at the time in my email. I told them my name at the pickup counter and they kept ignoring me. Stood there for 5 minutes and they kept speaking to one another. Finally said I can have a seat. Waited 20 minutes past the time before they actually brought out my order but I could tell they forgot to make it because they kept coming up to me to ask what I ordered again. When I got home the food was not what I ordered. Cheese wontons were soggy, sauce tasted old, and the banh mi/sandwich looked like it had been smashed. Because it was rushed, they also didn't do any modifications. Just a mess.

Great Banh Mi and the place was packed. Haven't been in years because it is for from center of The Woodlands. I forgot how good it was and will may a swing by more often. Place is old, but clean.

Very strange to say the least. But that isn’t a bad statement. Actually it’s a weird form of appreciation for something I never know could be so good. From what I gather as a first timer who never heard of the this place before… I thought wait so this is a Chinese spot? But don’t judge a book by its cover ladies and gentlemen. This is a bonafide legit Vietnamese restaurant in sheep’s clothing. First off it’s already hard to find decent Vietnamese food in woodlands or spring but to call it “Lucky Cafe” puts this under the radar even more so! But here I am to say to everyone reading this review you are in fact lucky to have found a good eat.Lucky Cafe is in a quiet shopping strip in the Woodlands. Another surprise… You’ll be caught off guard since there isn’t an Asian auntie/uncle who will wait and provide service to you…(common in most pho spots) rather you will meet some very nice El Salvadorians will make sure you are taken cared of. They from what I heard are the new owners while the original owner(s) still cook.l for the business. Customer service was great. Also a plus for those who speak spanish and have a hard time understanding the menu since they can translate for you.Quality of food! The pork bahn mi with an egg is crazy good! I highly recommend ! I even remember the order number #5.Pho is good - I ordered with steak and meatballs.I will be coming back to try the spring rolls since I forgot to get them. ( I ended up ordering two sandwiches instead!)Well worth the bahn mis

Good banh mi - soft & crunchy. And they currently have fresh coconut water!

Since it opened the food has been terrific. However , tonight I used Uber Eats to order, and waited...waited... Got a text it was on its way, then a request for a driver rating...just no food. When we called they said it was waiting for us to pick it up...so son went to get it...no trace. Owner called and said we had it already...um, no. So not sure where the mistake was, since there is communication from the driver and a confirmation...I tend to think it was the restaurant. I am really upset...not at the mishandled order, but at the attitude that this was some kind of dishonesty on our part. Uber is refunding and Lucky has lost customers that have been eating there since Quang opened it.

Go to Vietnamese restaurant here in the woodlands, used to be a well kept secret but not anymore. Been going here for over 20 years and still the best in the area.
