I called 2 weeks before the party to cancel the order and they said they can refund me minus 20% for a cancellation fee? Or refund me full amount in store credit. It was one cake, and I gave them plenty of a heads up. I'm not sure why they wouldn't be able to refund me full amount back onto my card. Pretty unhappy with this.

I purchase cakes for teacher and holiday gifts here every year, but unfortunately, this year will be the last time. When I walked in I couldn't help but notice how dirty the store was. The glass case that holds the cake had a thick layer of dust (see picture). I ordered some bundtlets and had them gift wrapped, not paying much attention, but when I got home I noticed that many of them looked dry and were crumbling. The lack of cleanliness alone is enough not to return.

Every time I come into the store; I am always greeted with a lovely hello. I usually get my favorite, which is White Chocolate Raspberry, but I have tried and loved other flavors, too (Oreo Cookie, Blueberry Bliss to name two). When I'm torn between two of them, I can always get some help from the employee about what I might like based on my favorite one. If it isn't busy, I might have an opportunity to get to know the employee and their name, etc., or share what the occasion is.

I always buy cakes here at this bakery, so I finally got a bad cake. I really didn’t want the hassle of returning it but I thought well I spent $42. I made the call and they said bring it back and we ill give you another one. I made a long trip and brought the cake and Barbara the manager told me “no they would not give me another cake”. She was very rude and unprofessional and lost a customer over $42 which to me is ridiculous. These Bundt cakes are “usually” delicious and I will just buy from another place.

The cake that was purchased was stale and seemed old, I noticed initially when I went to slice how it crumbled, it left a horrible after taste. I usually order from the Atascocita location, in which I love. Their products are always fresh, moist and provide excellent customer service. I spoke to the manager onsite, advised her if my concerns. There was no empathy, no apology, no resolution or etc. she told me “bring the cake back and I will then call and ask my manager if you can be compensated”. The if part alarmed me. And bring back, after I disclosed to her I lived in another city and I only resulted in utilizing that location due to it being the only one open. She need a refresher course on people skills training, managerial training and just common courtesy. I’m also doing a google review and my social media platforms will include my experience. It was horrible. The only time she seemed considerate was when she called to make sure i knew the location closed at 4, my pick up time was 12 and she contacted me at 12:08.

Always been satisfied with my online orders. Cakes are fresh and delicious. Only thing I’d like them to take into consideration is to find a better way to place flavor indicative labels on cup cakes inside containers. I’ve been having hard time figuring that out on my past couple orders.

I have purchased many Bundt cakes over the years and I have always enjoyed them. I was surprised today when I went to The Woodlands location to pick up a birthday cake for my mom and saw a sign that said they do not take cash. When I asked the employee why, all he said was "Covid".I couldn't believe this excuse and realized it may be part of the push to go digital, which I don't agree with.I guess I will have to take my loyalty and cash to other bakeries because I won't support businesses that don't accept cash.
