Review of P.F. Chang’s – Memorial Day Visit

The food at P.F. Chang’s is decent, but honestly, it’s overpriced for what you get. The dishes aren’t much different than what you’d find at a mall food court, just at a higher price point. The drinks are strong—basically straight alcohol—which might appeal to some, but at $14 a glass, they didn’t feel worth it. The free dessert we received through the rewards program was probably the highlight of the meal.

As for the service: it started off fine but took a disappointing turn. Since it was Memorial Day, my wife asked if they offered a military discount. We knew they usually don’t, but the waiter said he would check. He later returned saying they “don’t give discounts on top of other discounts,” but still went ahead and honored both the military discount and the free dessert.

The real issue happened as we were leaving. The waiter—(black guy named Curt)—made a rude and unprofessional comment: “It’s always the people who ask for discounts who don’t tip good,” and then complained about our tip right in front of us. If he expected more, he should have treated both of us with respect instead of speaking only to my wife and handing her the check like I wasn’t even there.

We spoke to the manager, who immediately apologized and offered to return our tip so the server wouldn’t receive anything—which we accepted. What could’ve easily been a 4-star review quickly dropped to 1 starbecause of that attitude.

Respect matters—especially on a day meant to honor those who served.

Our waitress was great but I just remember the food being so much better. We were disappointed to say the least. The lo mein tasted like fake ramen noodles with a seasoning packet and the veggie spring rolls were most definitely frozen.

I’ve never been a fan of the food here on multiple occasions, it’s come out with an odd smell, almost like a wet dog, which is definitely off-putting. That said, I still come back from time to time because the overall experience is genuinely fun. It’s a great spot to take a date, with a unique atmosphere and a aesthetic setup. Plus, the employees are always very kind and welcoming, which makes a big difference.

Excellent First Visit at P.F. Chang’s!
We visited P.F. Chang’s in The Woodlands for the first time, and it was an amazing experience! Our waitress, Fabian, was exceptionally attentive and polite, making us feel welcome from the start.

As a delightful surprise for our first visit, we were offered complimentary appetizers, and we chose the pork dumplings — they were absolutely delicious! The main dishes were also very tasty, and the overall atmosphere was stylish and comfortable.Design of restaurant is 🥇

We highly recommend P.F. Chang’s for anyone looking for a great dining experience with excellent service. Will definitely be coming back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had here! Service was terrible- my waiter couldn’t explain much of the menu and couldn’t even make change on my bill! Yikes! What a horror to know young adults don’t know basic math- even the manager had difficulty computing gift cards and cash! This took 30 minutes to resolve!! The restroom was filthy- the floors in the restaurant had food scraps scattered everywhere- what an embarrassment for The Woodlands!!

We had a great experience in The Woodlands location. They even provided a free small dessert as an anniversary gift.

We had a great time at this location. It is busy due to the location. The restrooms were clean and tidy. The menu is diverse. The cocktails are great. The orange chicken is my favorite. We had the teriyaki and spicy shrimp. The place is small. I encourage everyone to make a reservation.

The host was HORRIBLE and her attitude was NASTY. Businesses lose customers all the time from the way they are treated at the receptionist desk.

Menu prices have risen alot. For example, lo mein used to be $12-13, now its $16-17. Clean restaurant, service is quick. Restaurant can get pretty packed on holidays. There are 3 spots for to go parking. There is no designated to go worker inside at to go counter so you have to grab a someone's attention when they walk by.

The expirence we had was absolutely fantastic! It was our first time at P.F. Chang’s and Robin greeted us at the door and was so friendly. We told her it was our first time and she brought us the chicken wraps to try! (They were so good!). She came and checked on us a few times and made sure we had a great time. Our server Cass was also so cool and was quick to recommend some good options. Her energy was so upbeat and positive. I really recommend this place and most definitely will be coming back! Thank you both.

Food is not that great and it’s expensive.

Our service was extremely slow. We ordered drinks, the appetizer came before the drinks. We complained about the bartender being slow, the waiter told us she was backed up but we had direct view of her and she was talking with another employee the whole time. Our waiter took so long to bring us our food that another waiter noticed and grabbed our plates and brought them to us because he didn't want our food to get cold.

Service was slow and food was not brought to everyone at the same time. Two people didn't even get their soup until after their meal was delivered and they asked for it. Water was spilled in front of our table and never cleaned up. Server appeared not to have been trained at all.
