Luis, our waiter, was just as wonderful as the meal we had!The Wild Boar Bolognese was delicious, as was everything else we ate. I also loved the cornflake crusted calamari, polpete (home made meatballs) & the charred brussel sprouts.

We are fortunate to have such a great restaurant in our neighborhood. We always seem to gravitate to the same entrees: Scottish salmon and lasagna. Both were delicious and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I like risotto so I had the salmon on risotto which was the perfect combination. Our server Colton M, who we have had on several occasions, was personable, attentive and just an excellent server. We look forward to our return.

We have been repeat customers since they opened The Woodlands location. The food is always delicious and creative. It never disappoints. Wine selection is good and staff is always friendly. Selso greets us with a smile every time. My only recommendation would be window shades/coverings and table candles to create a more cozy ambiance. We will continue to dine at this establishment in the future, as it is one of our favorite spots.

Luiz was professional, thoughtful and quick with orders and wine. We love this place! It really is our favorite. The gluten free menu is above and beyond and appreciated. The food is always perfect. Just wish it was more cozy with more private booths. The noise level makes it difficult to talk. The tables are too close to one another. But, the staff and food keep brining us back. Thank you.

We dine here at least once a month. Overall, the meal was fine - Calamari, seafood soup, margarita pizza and beet salad. The PortaVino salad was not good - bad, soggy lettuce, pecans were bitter and strawberries had no favor. We were extremely disappointed to hear their best waiter, Cilso, is leaving (he was off the night we dinned). This may determine how often we dine here as the other wait staff are just that - wait staff. Nothing special. We can get that at other places. Cilso is a great waiter, extremely knowledgeable about the wine list, and Steve's wonderful menu. Steve, chef, will be the only reason for us to continue dining here.

I don't often write two reviews but I also never go to the same restaurant two nights in a row. My wife and I are moving to the area and we're in search of “our place”. After two evenings we can definitely say we found it! It's fun, unpretentious, superb food and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. We have tried 3 mains (we had the same one the first night), 2 appetizers, 2 deserts, and 2 bottles of wine. No regrets! We will be back after move in on a regular basis.

Exceptional restaurant with exceptional food and exceptional customer service at an exceptional value. we got there about five and it was very empty and within a few minutes, the place really started to fill up

Strangely, our waitress was not familiar with the wine menu, but her quick, attentive, and very pleasant service more than compensated. Appetizers and main courses were wonderful -- superb flavors and presentations. A very pleaasant evening!
Steve is a talented chef and can make anything to your liking!! He was very present and interacted with just about every table. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived at 5:30 but by the time we left at around 7:00 “ish” the restaurant was booming. Glad to see!!
