As a traveler I prefer a place with a bar. I had the jambalaya and a glass of wine. It was good, but not great. There is a decent wine selection. Maybe this is just not the place for me; I wasn’t in the mood for barramundi at $60 an entree. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with the restaurant. It is cozy and intimate. It’s just more a place for date night, not a visitor to the area.
An INCREDIBLE birthday experience. Great atmosphere, an attentive wait staff, and of course THE FOOD. We left absolutely stuffed and very satisfied: the bread pudding will have you ADDICTED. A must for a fantastic night out.
I have tried authentic Cajun and Creole food, I lived in Garden District and to be honest this restaurant blew my mind... Every single dish tasted so DELICIOUS and it reminded me of NOLA. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We tried gumbo-appetizers, Cajun fettuccine alfredo, Jambalaya with shrimp, Fried gulf coast sampler and bread pudding. I totally recommend this awesome place.
