This location is so bad, I'm not sure if it's because Shipley's got bought by private equity or if it's just this location, but either way, do not go here. The donut holes & kolaches tasted far worse than they normally do/used to (this is my first time coming to shipley's after they were bought out). The donut holes were also cut weirdly and many of them were tiny and misshapen. and again everything just tasted bad.

Always a fan of these donuts, but I went tonight at 655, and they were already closed. Happens often. Been there as early as 645 at this location.

Usually Shipley is the best do-nut in town.. My fave is chocolate filled.. I hadn't been there In a while, so I was completely disappointed when I stopped in a got some the other day... They had almost no filling in them.. They have always had a nice proportionate amount of chocolate filling. This time each donut had only a tiny squirt... I mean really tiny as in not even measurable.. Maybe a half teaspoon, if that... Certainly not acceptable... I'll try one more time to see if maybe my batch I got this time was an anomaly... Equipment failure, new employee, etc... But if the filling has been reduced this far as a part of protocol, I'll have to just mark Shipley as a place that used to be the best donut in town... Glazed are still good, which is why this is a 2 star instead of one. i personally go for the chocolate filled, and without the filling.. They just aren't right.. I'll come back and modify this to a better grade.. But if Shipley has purposely cut back the filling this far... I'll have to verify my disappointment and just not buy donuts here anymore... 50+ years I've enjoyed these great Shipley donuts.. I really hope it was just this batch.

Great Shipley’s Donut Location. Very busy. Which keeps the freshness of the donuts and kolaches top notch. Staff were very friendly, quick and efficient. Big area, nice seating area. Donuts delicious. Kolaches were wonderful. Love Shipley’s, and absolutely love this location. Highly recommended

I went in today and I had a two free glazed donuts reward but the lady when I told her about it said she can’t do anything about rewards because she isn’t a manager but she was the only one in there. She said manager is only morning. So I’m a little annoyed that I couldn’t use it on our order. I think rewards should be able to be used at any point of being open. There should be a manager or someone trained better in there at all times.

Shipleys donuts are by far the best donuts in Texas. I have been to dozens of Shipleys and I make a point to learn where all of the local ones are.

I like the warm donuts in the morning.

Normally, this place is OK but this morning I was very disappointed. First off the lady had an attitude for some reason because I was asking questions. I’m not just gonna buy something and don’t know how much it cost. Also something that was very concerning the lady in the back had the donuts on top of a trashcan. I provided pictures for proof. The lady was sorting the donuts on top of a trashcan very disgusting and I will never come back. Also the lady was on her phone touching the donuts, then touching her phone. You can see that she had the phone in her ear in one of the pictures.

Came in during the late afternoon to grab some donuts to bring home for the kids. They were super exited for them!
