The Stand - American Classics Redefined

Might have been just a bad time to come by but wait was super long, bathrooms were trashed, milkshake was runny and only cool, and fries were overcooked but burger was almost raw in the center. Not a cheap burger place so we definitely expected more.

I always enjoy my food at The Stand. It comes out hot and the flavors are as described on the menu. Love the Roast beef grilled cheese and the hamburgers. French fries are hot and seasoned nicely.

We hosted a large event at our church for almost 500 people. The Stand delivered and setup a fantastic burger bar experience. Deanna made the ordering process a breeze. Derek and his team catering team were wonderful to work with. They were prompt, polite, and made feeding everyone an enjoyable experience. The meat was kept hot. The food was excellent. We received so many positive responses about the food and everyone especially loved the chips. Highly recommend.

Delicious salads, which was somewhat unexpected but very enjoyable. My kids and I enjoyed the chopped Asian salad 🥗 burgers and chicken sandwiches were good also. Great stop for the family.

My college friends and I went in on Friday for the first time for lunch and April (who had a super bubbly personality) was super helpful in deciding what to get! I got a hotdog and milkshake and we shared chips and guacamole which was super delicious and came out hot. The dining room was very clean and the same lady came and checked on us again to make sure we loved the food! Definitely coming back when I'm back in town!!!

It was fine. I'd go back. The burger was interesting. The fries weren't hot, seemed a bit stale. I wouldn't get the hot pepper fries again - too salty.

Not impressed.

We went at 1:00 on a Wednesday and it was not busy but the service was unfriendly and the burgers took about 20 minutes for them to prepare.

Nothing about the burger was impressive except the packaging.

The patty was straight out of a Sysco box of frozen meat, the bun was dry and crumbly, and the bacon tasted like it was cooked in artificial smoke. The onion strings, copious amounts of cheese and grilled jalapeños couldn't make up for the lack of good foundation.

The fries were thick and had a crispy outside which was nice but as the temperature wore off, so did the flavor and texture - they became hard, pallid potatoes.

The atmosphere was generally nice with the outdoor a patio and tv screens for sports, but they don't keep the tables clean, even when it's slow.

Can't recommend and won't be back.

Got invited to try them out with a friend. Food is good. Wish the beef had some seasoning and flavor. Overall a good spot to eat and enjoy conversation with friends.

You're not paying $10+ for a great burger. You paying to be in Hughes Landing. The burger was decent, but not exceptional. The patty size is on the small side. The fries are not special either. Special prices, special area, non-special offerings.

I wouldn't really recommend this place - didn't like it at all. For the price of food the quality you're getting is sub par, to say the least: dry tasteless meat patties, stale buns and fries with a bitter after taste (maybe they use old oil for frying them?!). The only good thing were the sauces - they are tasty and seasoned very well.

Kind of expensive and not super fast service. But great food!!

Grilled chicken sandwich is very flavorful. Soft drinks are ridiculously overpriced.
