The food was pretty good. Although something was amiss with the chocolate malt cake I ordered To Go for dessert. I always take it To Go since I’m too full from dinner. I thought it was dry, not moist at all. It lacked the ā€œOh my gosh! This is so awesome I can’t stop eating it!ā€ taste that I’ve had the three previous times I’ve ordered this dessert from this Truluck’s location. The cake was actually so unappealing that I threw it away. Foods or desserts that don’t taste fabulous when dining out aren’t worth the calories.
Was I disappointed? Yes, very much! Will I return? I’ll have to think about it.

We love Truluck’s……..for dinner! The lunch, not so much. Went Friday specifically to have lobster rolls and they were just so so. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures. I ordered the Sonoma salad. It was ok, but they left off the cranberries. I told the waitress. She said she would let the chef know. Nothing else. Now, the lobster rolls. The meat was pulverized! No chunks of lobster. I didn’t like the sauce either. Bland. So, $90 later, we will not return for lunch. No drinks, just water, two salads and two lobster rolls.

It was my first time coming here for lunch for my birthday and it was amazing. I ordered the stone crab claws that are in season, $9.50 for medium claws and $36 ish for the jumbo (per claw). I ordered 3 medium stone crab claws, they had differing textures which I thought was weird, but it was good overall, more meat than I thought. The Parmesan bread and lump crab cake were phenomenal. They only give one crab cake on a puddle of sauce (not pictured) but the one cake was out of this world delicious. The baked Alaska was so good, we got it for my birthday too. The sautĆ© was amazing and the shrimp and scallop were perfectly cooked. We paid $232 for 3 people so it wasn’t bad. Our waitress was super sweet and knowledgeable. Not sure her name but she wore glasses and a messy bun.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Only disappointment was they didn't pack all the food I had asked to take to go. I would do it myself next time

Short and direct the point. The manager Joe Wiley at The Woodlands is not a pleasant person and should not be considered suitable to be a manager. He takes actions at his own personal criteria that does not go with the company’s policy and vision.
Since we first arrived his disgusted face when he saw kids was very disrespectful and immediately ordered us to take the kids outside because ā€œthey were going to disturb his other guestsā€. None of our kids was crying and we never saw a neighbor table being annoyed or complaining about us. Actually our kids are very used to dine at high end restaurants and have good matters so we gave no reason for him to make such requests.
Even our servers were apologizing for the manager’s lack of ethic and disrespectful snd discriminatory words. .
let me just add that if a place says NO KIDS we respect that.. and we always call ahead to be considered of this matters.
We love the food and going there but this is the third time he does this and the company does not deserve a bad rating but spending a lot of money and getting this kind of manager is worth cero stars

Top notch, Trulucks never disappoints! From Joe the Beverage Director to Mike our server, c’est fantastique!

Lobster bisque was served at the proper temperature and the lobster bites were refreshingly not overcooked and chewy. Ribeye was melt in your mouth and served with a nice head of roasted garlic. King crab legs were succulent, tender and perfect as to be expected. Also their cream spinach is bar none the best in town. Great views, great food and great company, you should get on up here and enjoy yourselves!
