My suegro is from Guadalajara, Jalisco so we thought we’d try this place and we were not disappointed at all. We tried cocktails, the trompito al pastor, the torta, the sopes, and the guava cheesecake and all of it was delicious. We went during lunch time and the service was great with very little wait time for our orders to come out. And the suggestions our server made were on point. Even later that evening when we reheated our leftovers they packed up for us, the al pastor...
This is not our usual area, but we happened to be around and saw the food reviews, so we tried it out. It was an odd time, around 3pm on a Thursday. We wanted a late lunch but were there late enough that they gave us the dinner menu... we chose a couple of items to share and then waited a bit for our food. The waiter was very nice but he did go missing for a long time. We wanted to try a beer after he had taken or food order, but he went missing for so long, we ended up not getting...
The service was good, food good as well. Eggnog tres leches not good the frosting on top taste cheap. We took try a bit and kindly ask to be removed and they did not.
Considering we spend about $70 per person this is unacceptable.
