OMG ! This place is amazing ! We were taking a trip to get pressed ham and stumbled upon a jewel !! The poncho plate is the thing for a family or just two and taking the rest home . We fed 4 and still had two servings left for later!! Words can't express the hospitality ! Everyone was very nice and down to earth ! check them out!!
Quite posssibly the best smoked turkey and sausage easy of I-35. Friendly folks, killer military and first responder ambience, and prices aren't egregious like nearly everywhere in Texas in 2024. Thank you for your service AND for your savory BBQ.

Wow Wow Wow!!! Thorndale meat market catered our daughter's wedding!! Mopsie's is their catering portion of the market. This is real homemade bbq the way Texans do it right! Treys family recipe is by far the best bbq we've ever had! Our 100 guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! And to top it off, Rebecca the catering manager and her staff were exceptional!! When other vendors blew it, Rebecca was the constant.... We never had to worry about the food...read full review
