I had the cheese omelet with chorizo. The BEST omelet ever, I cant wait to go back and have the same breakfast again. Our group was large, but very well taken care of by our server. No one wanted for anything. Great food - great service!
Prices were extremely high for the poor quality of food that I received. IT took 30 minutes to recieve my food after ordering g. Not once did a waitress come up to me and apologize for the long wait. And my food was cold when I got it. I will never go back to Max's cafe again.

Best country-Mexican food I have ever had. I’d go as far to say it’s the culinary capitol of South Texas. Service is Michelin quality and the food makes Michelin restaurants look like dog food. I’d give 15 stars if I could. Well worth the drive even if you’re coming from Florida or California.

Them burgers are freaking amazing, there big and worth the the like $10 a cheeseburger, there huge and well done, the chicken fried steak is good as well, I recomend stopping by when in town or passing by if hungry, there food is very well made and delicious, I like it alot as well as the lovely staff there who are quick to serve or answer the phone and get the order to you correctly always. They don't accept mobile pay, though, so make sure you have your card or cash on hand, but the food is worth stopping by
Yep, we could have split the burger & fries! But they ARE definitely what Jimmy Buffett was singing about as far as the cheeseburger goes. Also great fries and the onion rings are the BEST!
