Once again we return home and our order is incomplete. We repeat it when calling in and confirm when picking up, but never is completed. They always manage to get the item on the bill, but never in the bag! So done with Clark’s!

I grew up in Kansas City. Like many from KC, BBQ is in my DNA. As infants, we go from the bottle and straight to the rib. Some of my earliest memories are eating Arthur Bryant's ribs and watching the Chiefs in Memorial Stadium in the 60's. I've been eating burnt ends as my favorite BBQ for 50 years + now. My first and only visit to Clark's blew me away. The best burnt ends I've ever had anywhere... anytime. 2nd place is a tie, with a batch I made using grass fed point from New Zealand a few years go and what one used to get in the mid 80s at Harris BBQ in KC. For a month now I've been looking forward to my next visit to Clark's, which if it were a little closer, I'd probably be going everyday. (I live in Frisco) I plan on calling ahead to make sure there are enough burnt ends for me to have a serving while there and some to take home. The leftovers I intended to bring home last time, didn't make it past Aubrey.

Great bbq, strong drinks, in an unassuming building. We stopped here the first time on the way to a pumpkin patch in October and passed it again on my birthday trip so decided to stop again. Great food. Real bbq. Calf fries were on special today so we decided to try them. Best I’ve had yet! Will always stop when we have the chance even though we like trying new things.

It's good. There could be improvement. Depends on who's cooking. Wait staff is great

All the meat offerings are exemplary. The sides ok. The brisket queso is a winner, however.
We tried the brisket loaded tots, they were amazing! We ordered two two-meat plates with pulled pork, smoked turkey, and jalepeno cheddar sausage. For sides we ordered a salad, green beans, tater salad, and a sweet potato. The pulled pork looked sad, super dry. The jalepeno cheddar sausage seemed to be pre-cut and looked old. These two pork meats seemed to have been prepared days before and just reheated. The turkey had an unusual smokey flavor, similar to liquid smoke, we did not eat after the inital bite. The sides were ok, still lackluster. The service was great and the atmospere just felt good, just wish we would have stopped at the brisket tots.

Finally got to try this place. Best BBQ that we've had. Will definitely be coming back.
Loved everything we ordered from the Hickory burger, slider trio (ham, pulled pork, sausage) and the jalapeño sausage were all fantastic!! Don’t forget to try the brisket queso, yum! We had great service, our waitress was super friendly & very attentive. Love the atmosphere! Being from a small town we love to support small local businesses. If we are ever back in this area, we will definitely stop again!

I feel almost guilty leaving a bad review on a small business, however we’ve tried Clark’s a few times. It was mediocre before, but after raising their already expensive prices it seems that their food quality has gotten much worse. And for $85 (after tip)… I’m pretty frustrated. Their brisket was dry with no flavor. Sausage tasted old and over cooked. My daughter got the kid’s ribs and we ended up sending it back because they were rubbery and also tasted old. The best part of our visit was the waitress.
