The first time we came here 6 of us ordered 6 different meals and they were all good but yesterday 4 of us went and the meals were not good at all and we even left food on our plates. The water even had a bad taste. What happened, new cooks ? Since we live in Rockport I don't think we will be back anytime soon.

Wow what a treat! Needed a quick bite on our way to Houston and Chef DonKey delivered. It’s a little hidden gem and we missed the turn but a quick U-turn fixes that. Beautiful road side stop covers picnic tables next to the river lovely breeze even better food. We got the brisket sandwiches comes with chips and a soda. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Comes out in a lunch bag which adds to the vibe. Chef DonKey was friendly, we had a pleasant conversation. Definitely recommend and will stop by next time we are around 10/10

Was in town for business and stumbled across this place. Best BBQ I've ever had. And the service was incredible which is very rare these days. 5 star, highly recommend.
