I and my wife had the one piece fried catfish. It was mushy and the breading was like eating thru a corn fried tortilla. The service was horrible the waitress only came by occasionally after she had a long talk with the locals. The atmosphere was genuinely very nice but lacked. One gentleman walked in and sat at a table next to us and asked the waitress for a simple cup of soup, her reply was blunt and harsh (It's to hot for soup) can't talk bad about the steam table cause we never ordered from it. But making salad I assumed I put ranch dressing on it but to only find out it was blue cheese. If we pass through again we'll just pass it up.

Great place, food was the best I had in a long time. Will come back when coming through. Great prices for 4 hungry people.

I had the chicken and waffles. My waffle tasted burnt, and the chicken didn’t have much flavor. The best part of my meal was the biscuit even though it was slightly hard. My waitress didn’t come check up on me a single time, not even to refill my drink. Definitely won’t return.

Excellent small town diner. Everything you'd want. We went for lunch, had the steam table. Old-fashioned style 1 meat, veggies, bread, and drink. Way too reasonably priced as well. 2 specials with a dessert under $30.00. I had the hamburger steak with grilled potatoes, cabbage, green beans, and jalapeno cornbread. Wife the pork chop with brown gravy, a massive amount of perfect whipped potatoes, black eye peas, green beans, and cornbread. We split pecan pie, which is the only thing I didn't care for.

We will be back next Saturday

Well that was worth the hour and a half drive. Whatever you do, if they have that pork chop/cutlet, get it.

New owners 8 months ago. Friendly, down home, Southern family feel. They have a steam table so some menu choices are available immediately. Breakfast and lunch, no dinner service yet. Pricing very reasonable.
