Absolutely amazing! We live 30 minutes away but will definitely make an effort to get back here soon! Yum!
Such a cute diner. Food is delicious and everything we ordered was amazing. The girls in the front are just so sweet.
They were out of veggies offered for lunch specials so we had to make selections we really didn't want. What we are was good though.
Very smooth and well organized.
Good, solid home cooking. Friendly folks working there. Reasonable prices. Has daily specials.
Rating is from just a single visit. I was in the area, and decided to try something that was locally owned. Place was clean, service was good, and food was good. They have a lunch special that is very affordable and filling. Very pleased with my visit. I'll be back soon.
Great home cooking.
I find myself in Troup several times a year and always look forward to eating at the Tiger Country Cafe. I have never been disappointed with their offerings. I just wished that they existed when I lived there.

Sat there 47 minutes
Put my order in within the first 5 mins
Reminded them I was there after 25 mins
Now I get to go back to work late with no lunch. I guess I should feel lucky I got a damn water.
Thanks for wasting my time
Don’t waste yours here.

Told 25 minutes. Waited 50. Didn’t have the food we ordered and waited til we had been there almost an hour to let us know. Place has a lot of ‘not my job’ air to it. Food is a good price and a good quality meal.

I had heard of this place and decided to try it out the next time I drove through Troup. WOW! These folks knocked it outa the park! I LOVE "chicken fried steak" with cream gravy and these folks really know how to do it right! Great fries, home made blackeye peas, and soft fluffy yeast rolls! The wife had BLT with onion rings and loved them. The young lady who waited on us is related to the owner and provided the kind of service that small town east Texas is famous for. We're looking forward to going back (and taking our friends/neighbors) with us. If you like country "comfort" food and small town ambience, this place might be what you're looking for!! (I even tipped the cook before I left!)
Parking: Big, plenty of room.
