Surprising small town gem! Visiting my family in Troy from Austin, we met them at the Lumberyard, which offers gastropub style food, excellent coffee, and a great selection of wine and beer. Could compete with any big city venue on food and drink and would also win hands down on charm and atmosphere.

Absolute gem of a tavern. I stopped here on my way to get raw milk from red, white, and moo one day (highly recommend). Now every time I am in town I stop here. All the food is delicious, my favorites are the whipped goat cheese appetizer and the brie and prosciutto sandwich. The owner is awesome and has phenomenal taste in beers. I had some meads here that were so good I had to take a side quest to the Wildflyer meadery in Navasota (also wonderful).

This is, by far, my favorite establishment. It is not an exaggeration to state that this family run business is the gold standard for running a business and caring about it’s community. From ownership to employees I could not imagine what our area did to deserve such a fantastic place. The food is absolutely immaculate and the drinks are well crafted to absolute perfection.

Everything about Troy Lumberyard exceeds expectations! The venue, the service, the food and drink, are all 11 out of 10. We enjoyed our visit so much, and we can't wait to come back and bring more friends. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Great vibes all around and some really phenomenal food. I think the atmosphere is the best part. Plus they just opened up the larger outdoor area and stage so we're lookig forward to all the concerts and events coming up soon :)

When you’re here you’re family. Imagine roadhouse but with the southern hospitality that is unmatched. I looked across the room and the sandwich that stared me right back down spoke to me in the most angelic voice that brought me right back to this cruel cruel earth that we are forced to live on. The beers I had were paralleled to the childlike glee I had from getting my first sugar rush. The people that populate the place (both workers and customers united) are the epitome of the people that would and did help me bury the body. #WhoSavedWho
