I started going to China Moon in 1995 but have not gone here for 20 years, at least. Any Chinese food I've had is always compared to them to see the quality of food.
I did get to go last night and had chicken with mushrooms. Oh my goodness! It was so delicious.
The only tiny problem I have at all is the (new word here) spill-ability of the main dish out of the entree. Well done, as always China Moon. I'll be back soon.

The food was so good! You could tell it was made with love! the atmosphere was cozy and it’s one of those restaurants you go to for the first time and it stays on your mind because it’s that good!

I placed an order through Favor. The driver calls me to tell me they don’t have a specific appetizer they went with the meal. We change it. All is well. He then tells me it is a 20-25 min wait. I was okay with that since he did arrive at China Moon like 3 minutes after I placed the order. He must’ve been really close there. Well, about 40 min later after I still see no action through the app, I get a notification saying he is no longer available to pick the food up. Now here is where the bad rating comes for China moon. I called the restaurant to find out what happened. A woman (with an attitude) answers the phone. I tell her what happened. She then tells me that it’s not her fault. She will just get rid of the food. I told her I already paid for it through the favor app and I want my food. She then raises her voice and says “look, you come get it or it goes away” she hangs up. I called back and tell her they there is a new driver from favor coming to get it. She told me, it’s sitting on the shelf, you do what ever you need to do, Man”. And hangs up again. Extremely rude and bad customer service. I will NEVER order from them again. I was a loyal customer to them because I liked their food. Never again.

6 Nov 25 - At the time of this post China Moon was rated 3.9. ABSOLUTELY NOT. It only took 2 visits to know the first time wasn't an accident. I unregretfully won't be returning. Thank you

Ive been going to place for sometime now and today was the last day. The General chicken was not only over cooked but it was spoiled and now we are sick.

Food was absolutely disgusting. We should have checked it at their parking lot instead of at home in La Vernia. Everything looked like it was days old and the fried rice had the most rancid smell. I truly cant believe they actually served this food. Don't know how people can eat here.

Been going here for many years, usually everything always really good. Today there was hardly anyone in there I ordered sweet sour chicken lunch special with an order of Rangoon's. I wasted 7.95 for burnt wontons guessing cream cheese melted out what was left was in lil powder pieces.. the worst I have ever seen come out of that restaurant.. really sad food quality going down hill. The chicken was over cooked enough to make it rubbery. I don't think I'll be going there anymore so sad..

I've been going to China Moon for years. I think they opened in 1980. They must be doing something right to stay open so long. I like the lunch specials.

Save your money and go to Panda Express. Food was very expensive for what you get. This place values quantity over quality and the food is under seasoned under salted over cooked. The restaurant smells horrid like sewage. Stay away!

Smelled like fabuloso as soon as I walked in. Service was okay but the food was not great. Hot oil tasted stale and old. Rangoons were burned and tasted terrible. Used to eat here all the time but it's not that good anymore.

If you manage to catch the orange chicken when it's crispy it's delightful. However it smells like dead rats/vermin inside the restaurant on all 3 of my visits.

I've been eating here since I was a child. The sesame chicken here is my favorite dish and no other place has been able to replicate it's unique flavor. Staff is always friendly and the owner makes you feel like family.
