I noticed the Closed sign on the door the last week or so. Today I heard the reasoning behind that sign on the door. I send my best wishes to the family who took that store over this year. You all were doing good things there and it's a shame for what happened and how it played out.

Food was eehhhhhhhhh pizza dough had a big hole in it so there was just toppings and no crust. Salad is way over priced for the lack of toppings. Will not be going back.

The pizza and gelato here is amazing. The pizza is like New York style pizza with the thin cripsy crust and all the ingredients are fresh. The Gelato is exactly like the real authentic stuff they eat in Italy. Lots of really good and even rare flavors (for example the old world spumoni). Seriously the gelato tastes exactly like the Gelato you can eat in the gelaterie in Rome. Incredibile to be able to find this in San Antonio! Customer service is also very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this to any lover of Italian food living in San Antonio. Don't listen to the haters or you'll be missing out. Try the GELATO! Once you do you'll be going back for more.

STAY AWAY!!!! i wish i would have read these reviews before i ordered. The owner or the manager, I don't know who i spoke with is RUDE and very unprofessional. I ordered on Door Dash and waited nearly 3) minutes for my order to receive a call from my Dasher. She then outs the owner or manger on the phone. He begins to tell me I can't have my salad that came with meal unless I pay more money because their menu was wrong. he said it has been wrong for awhile and they need to change it. i said how is that my fault. i ordered based off your menu and already paid. If you already knew this you should have changed the menu. My order is suppose to come with a salad. he said he doesn't care what the menu said. I am not giving you the salad unless you give me another $7.00. WOW!!! IF THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCE AND DOING THINGS THE RIGHT WAY------DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY CARE ABOUT THE CLEANLINESS OF THEIR RESTAURANT AND HOW THEY PREPARE AND STORE THEIR FOOD. PROBABLY NOT!!!!!! AS YOU CAN TELL BY THEIR OTHER REVIEWS.

This location is iffy. It honestly depends on what day you come on. One day it'll be great and then the next day will be bad. It all just depends. Granted, it has gone down hill over the last several months. It used to be way better but just isn't the same.

The food was great service was good. It was all young people running it when I went on a Thursday night I ordered a meat calzone and cheese bread they got the order perfect.

I went last night with my family, we ordered our food, a large pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and extra cheese, my daughter ordered the shrimp alfredo and myself, the cheese ravioli. We sat down at a table and was bombarded by gnats flying around. The waitress brings my my salad, it was great, I love their salads! They bring my cheese ravioli and my daughter's Alfredo, no shrimp, so we send it back. I was very disappointed in the cheese ravioli, it was rubbery and cold but I didn't want to complain too much. She brings the pizza out and it was just a plain pepperoni pizza, so we sent that back too. She brings my daughter's "shrimp alfredo" back out with maybe 5 shrimp added to it and the shrimp was rubbery as well. We have been to this location before and know what to expect and was seriously disappointed. The pizza eventually came out and was amazing! I understand that they are under new management or ownership but if they don't get it right soon, this place will be closing. We will NOT be going back to this location ever again, we will stick with the Walzem location! But on the bright side, our dogs loved the pasta!

Great pizza, friendly staff. I had the lunch special: 2 large slices 1 topping thin crust pizza & drink for $7.99. There were 4 choice for lunch at same price. There is also an after 3 special of large pizz for $9.95. Very reasonable bargains.

Best pizza in town. Their pizza rolls are amazing. The closet I've had to New York style pizza here in Texas. Their cannolis are also delicious! And yes, the pizza slices are foldable. ;)

All the food they serve is delicious and you can have pizza, calzone, subs, salad's etc..if you like spicy food you will enjoy there food very Spacey in there dinning room with multiple TV's

Food came out cold, floor and booths were dirty, cashier didn't know how to do her job . I've been to two different other locations and in this location they told me certain items didn't come with things i ordered and they like to “switch up the menu†and they don't tell you til after you wait 20 minutes for your food. So horrible food, horrible service and cheating customers out of what they pay for.

Ordered a chicken Cesar salad and my chicken was dry and cold. Paid almost $3 for a drink and they had no diet Coke or unsweet tea. When I told the cashier I can't drink sugar products she said the fountain has water. And she never offered to refund my drink money back to me.

had an awful experience at the 1604 location in universal city. Bad impression from the moment we walked in the door. There was a huge hole in the ceiling, dirty walls, and baseboards on the floor. we decided to give the food a chance. First our wings were burnt and then they brought the wrong pizza. We asked for the Rays supreme with the sausage only on one half because of an allergy. They brought out a half meat supreme/half cheese and it took another 10 minutes for them to understand what we wanted on our pizza. We were sitting in the back of the restaurant and could hear the cashiers gossiping about us behind the counter. Very dissapointing experience since we hardly go out to eat.

The lunch specials here are pretty good and reasonably priced. I usually get the 1 slice of pizza, salad, and drink combo. The salad is good and fresh and plentiful. In the past the pizza was better. I believe they have started using processed Canadian bacon and it is not good at all. Also, it seems that everytime I'm there, the lemonade fountain drink is out and has to be replaced. The main reason I rated them low is because it smells bad in this place everytime I go in here! Perhaps it's because the restrooms are right off the dining area so when someone "goes" the scent fills the room!! Some people don't mind but I can't stand it! It's also always hot and stuffy here, the background music is too loud, and the staff seem sad and are not very friendly to customers. It appears that the owners themselves try to do any remodeling that needs to he done so it looks a little shabby. It probably could benefit from a good and thorough cleaning and the owner should seriously consider reinvesting some of the profits into the business!!
