Stopped in and had the steak and fries—didn’t really care for the fries, but the steak was amazingly delicious. Honestly surprised at how good it was for $27. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and absolutely worth it. You really can’t beat it. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. Definitely Texas road trip travel approved!
My wife and I went to Lost Maples and hiked around for a couple of hours and came back here for lunch. It was busy but we had absolutely fantastic service, the waitress was so accommodating and made great recommendations and the gentleman who oversaw the entire establishment was super friendly and I enjoyed speaking with him on several occasions (Go Longhorns!) Next time we go hiking at Lost Maples, we're coming back here again for lunch..!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The food and service here is unparalleled. We met a young lady waitress (didn't get her name) from Sabinal that was the sweetest soul. Everyone was very nice and the food was delicious. Get some pie while there.
