The place was crowded when we got there, but we were seated right away. I had their Chili Rellenos,, which were not poblanos but rather slender peppers, (perhaps Anaheims?), stuffed with picadillo beef. They were covered with a cheese sauce rather than a tomato sauce. They were good, the service was good, and the place was clean.

I got the ground beef burrito and I ended up getting food poisoning from it and II’ve been sick all weekend with throwing up.

Absolutely love this place! I live in Florida but visit family in Texas frequently and this is a must visit every time. The service is great and the food is delicious.

This place is not a five star!!!! Obviously somebody paid for advertisement . And there's a lack of places to eat in Valley Mills. Tx when you walk in it feels like somebody move their living room into the restaurant. It's a solid pass for me.

One of the best little mex spots around. Recommended.

I was disgusted. Our waiter had a runny nose. He wiped it on the back of his hand a couple times while taking our order. Back behind the counter, picked up his phone and stuck his finger in his nose up to the first knuckle and dug around a bit, then started playing on his phone again. We hollered wash your hands! He did, then picked up the booger phone again. I could see a young woman in the kitchen. Observed her rubbing her eyes and nose and hair. No hairnet. If I'm sick next week I'll know exactly where I caught it. These people are GROSS!!! Not even basic sanitation practices. Ugh. My chile rellano tasted like something frozen out of a box. Ugh. Drive right on by this nasty place!

Good food and friendly staff, the food never disappoints us. Busy during the week at lunch, call ahead for weekend hours.

This place and it’s owner are amazing. This is a hidden gem in Valley Mills! The food is delicious and very fairly priced. The place has a very “mom and pop”/hometown aesthetic. They have some quarter vending machines with toys and candy for the kiddos, and they have the local newspaper for sale for only $0.75 an issue.Every month they have different specials written on a blackboard, but they have everything from fried fish to fajitas and everything in between.Don’t let the outside fool you, the food is amazing! Just walk in and grab yourself a table next time you drive through Valley Mills. Or call in and grab it to go.

Love our town's Mexican restaurant. We try and go twice a month or so, and are never disappointed. I will eat the monthly special or something off the menu, and Andrea gets her special order meatless veggie fajitas. Make sure to get a cup of Charro beans too!

Amazing little place in Valley Mills. Stopped by after a football game today and we really enjoyed the food. Service was great and their menu is packed with authentic options.
