The food is the best Mexican food around, but the last time we went there my husband's dish had 3 different hairs wrapped in the food. Needless to say it was the last time we went.

Van Alstyne is filled with Pizza and Tex Mex on every corner. The only problem with that is they are all fantastic and it can be months before places like El Patio have their turn in the rotation. If you live in VA or looking for a quick stop off 75 this place is well worth the stop.

If I could pick zero stars I would. It is the worst Mexican food I have ever seen. The fajita nachos only had 11 chips with 4oz of steak and chicken with a small amount beans. I never write reviews but unless they are really good or if they are horrible. I have attached pictures of the food we received.

Good food service was good 1 lady was doing all the work while a few was playing on phones, but she was the boss I'm sure so it's probably the way she wanted it...over all everything was great. Alittle pricey. 2 adults 1 child 57

Good food, decent atmosphere, nice people, unfortunately they were understaffed and things took a while but I can't say whether that's a frequent occurrence because we were just stopping along our way on a road trip.

The restaurant has a patio for warmer days and has memories stretch all along the restaurant! Bring Yourself, Bring A Friend, Bring your family! You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! We enjoyed fresh salsa, chips and queso for starters.. Mainly a pescatarian myself; the shrimp flamioto dish was AMAZING! My Friend Got the Memos Special. He too LOVED His Meal!!
