I used to tell everyone that Golden Chick is the best for fried chicken and tenders..but its really hard to give them 3star now! Food quality is bad now a days and customer service was never worth mentioning. Just ordered some fried chickens and tenders, and they gave me all dried up chickens..tenders were hard and Fried chicken was soggy!! I know it was sitting under the warmer for a long time. Expected much better from my favorite chicken place..I will start looking for something...

My old lady showed me this place when we was passing through in our tractor trailer semi now I'm hooked I can't eat another chicken place everytime I run through texas I always have to get the golden chick best tender chicken around and the sandwich right amount of heat !!!?? I think it a crime to leave texas and not get some chicken from here love the buisness???

I ordered a catfish filet dinner. They cooked the fish fresh, so I had to wait, which was expected. I got home only to discover my food was cooked in old dirty grease and was so dark and hard that I couldn't tell it was catfish. I was very disappointed. This is a new location and was my first time trying them. I often went to a different location that is close to where I live, but I can stop on my way home from work. I did attempt to eat the fish, which I shouldn't have...
