We cannot recommend Kim enough! She did our wedding cake a couple of years ago, and it was so special to have her create our gender reveal cake as well. We ordered vanilla with raspberry jam and cream cheese buttercream, and it was absolutely perfect. Her cakes truly taste the best—moist, flavorful, and decadent (we live in Richardson so it’s worth the 40 minute drive!). I can even attest that the cake slices are still delicious after being frozen for 2 years from our wedding!
The design was exactly what I had envisioned (actually, even better!) and made our reveal so memorable. Our family was blown away and loved every bite. Thank you for making such special moments in our lives even sweeter!

I ordered cupcakes from Love + Sugar in Van Alstyne for my daughter’s baby shower, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! I found them through a quick Google search for custom bakers near me, and what a gem of a find!
From start to finish, the process was seamless and professional. Kim was so kind and thoughtful, she even gave me clear instructions on where to store the cupcakes until the event and when to place them out for serving.
The cupcakes themselves were absolutely beautiful, decorated with such care and detail, they looked almost too pretty to eat. But once we did… WOW. The frosting was sooo good, light, flavorful, and perfectly sweet. Everyone at the shower raved about them!
I also loved that they came in nice, reusable to-go containers, which made transport and setup incredibly easy.
I will definitely be ordering from Love + Sugar again. Highly, highly recommend!

Kim created a beautiful cake for my son's Confirmation! He wanted the colors to be blue and white with a dove. The smile on his face when I opened the box is one I will not forget! He was so pleased.
