Lived here for over 3yrs and finally tried this place ...it didn't disappoint.I tried the Barbocoa Bowl, Husband had Chicken bowl. We took our teenagers an order of Nachos and and a Quesadilla. Everything was fresh and tasty. Tortillas were made fresh in front of you. The two gentlemen behind the counter were quick and gave us great customer service (something hard to find these days). We will be back!
This restaurant is inside a big Valero convenience store, but it’s a nice one with great restrooms. They make FRESH tortillas with a huge machine that produces one in less than a minute when you order. It’s way better than Chipotle! Portion sizes are good and I like the grilled jalapeños and Spanish rice options. They even offer elote and sopapillas!
Because the food is made to order, it takes a little longer to get it out the drive thru window. However, it is absolutely worth the extra few minutes their madecto order service requires.The food is always excellent, freshly prepared and hot. Mi Taco is one of my families favorite places to eat out and at less than $10 per person, the cost is less or on par with other fast food establishments.
