I love Myth and Ember they have great drip coffee and lattes. Their signature menus and seasonal drinks are always tasty. The muffins are all gluten friendly but you can’t tell. They are just so delicious. ? Definitely give myth and ember a try and walk around downtown Van Alstyne. It’s so cute! Sweet small town. Supporting local business is great especially when the owner and staff is this passionate about their work and genuinely happy. ?

Brothers and sisters, gather 'round and lend me your ear, for I have witnessed a divine blessing in the heart of our city. I speak to you today about Myth and Ember, a coffee shop that is nothing short of a heavenly haven!

From the moment you step inside, you’re embraced by an atmosphere that sings with warmth and fellowship. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee rises like a sweet hymn, calling all weary souls to find solace and rejuvenation. Each cup of coffee served at Myth and Ember is like a sacred ritual, a testament to the dedication and craft that goes into every single drop.

Their baristas, oh, they are the stewards of this sacred space, greeting you with a smile that could brighten the darkest of days. They prepare each beverage with a grace and precision that reflects their reverence for the art of coffee-making. And let us not forget the pastries—oh, the pastries! They are as delightful as a chorus of angels, each bite a testament to the bakery's commitment to excellence.

Myth and Ember is more than just a place to get your caffeine fix; it’s a sanctuary where hearts are lifted, conversations flow like the finest brew, and every visit feels like a blessing. If you seek a place of comfort and community, look no further. This sacred space is a true gem, shining bright in our midst.

Amen to that, and may we all find our way to Myth and Ember, where the spirit of coffee is as rich as the love that fills the room.

Well now, if ever there was a place that reminded me of the warmth and comfort of home, it’s this lovely little spot in Van Alstyne called Myth and Ember Coffee House. As a traveler who knows a thing or two about the value of good food, drink, and the company of kind folks, I must say that this place has it all.

From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a smell so delightful, it made me think of the finest gardens in the Shire on a crisp autumn morning. The air was filled with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee, mingling with the scent of warm pastries and the faintest hint of something sweet and spiced, like the apple tarts my old Gaffer used to make.

The folks here at Myth and Ember know their craft well, I’ll say that. The coffee was rich and full-bodied, with just the right balance of strength and smoothness—a brew to rival the finest of them all. I took my time to savor every sip, letting the warmth spread through me like a comforting fire on a chilly night.

And it’s not just the coffee that’s worth writing home about. The pastries and treats are made with the kind of care and attention to detail that you don’t often find outside of Hobbiton. The scones were as light and fluffy as a cloud over the Green Hills, and the muffins were bursting with flavor, each one a little treasure in its own right.

But what really makes Myth and Ember special is the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a good, long chat with an old friend, or just sit quietly with a book, letting the world outside drift away like a far-off dream. The décor is warm and inviting, with touches of whimsy that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook. There’s a sense of history and magic in the air, like the tales of old that Mr. Bilbo used to tell by the fireside.

The staff here are as friendly as anyone could wish for—always ready with a smile and a kind word, and quick to make sure your cup is never empty. They’ve created a space that feels like a second home, a place where anyone can come and feel welcome, whether you’re a weary traveler passing through or a local looking for a quiet corner to enjoy your day.

All in all, Myth and Ember Coffee House is a true gem, a place where the simple joys of life are celebrated in every cup and every bite. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel glad to be alive, and that’s about the highest praise I can give. If you ever find yourself in Van Alstyne, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t be disappointed, I promise you that.

While the coffee is definitely the top draw for my reasoning behind visiting the shop so often, you can't beat the customer service that comes with it. The food is always so delicious - the coffee cake muffin is my favorite. If you have any time to get into this shop, it is definitely worth the stop. Their options of drink choices is another reason why I enjoy visiting, but I definitely have a favorite in their Americano.

This place looks nice and the people are friendly but the drinks are pretty poor and that's really the reason you go. I got a lemonade that Im pretty sure was just powder in water and a London Fog that had no syrups so they were just watery, milky tea. If you get coffee I'm sure it's fine, but that's my experience.
