Rudy's consistantly holds the bar high for mexican food in North Texas. Even in Van Alstyne, with 2 other mexican restaurants within almost a literal stones throw of the place, and La Cima 20 feet from where I work, Rudy's is my go-to lunch spot at least once a week. Very nice staff as well.

We loooove rudy's!! Unfortunately, no one else seems to know about it, and they are struggling. Due to an issue with the purchase of the building, Rudy has been unable to replace the old "sali's" sign with his own and it is greatly impacting his business. His food is awesome, easy to enjoy street tacos, platters and desserts... The spices are spot on as is his super friendly attitude. The interior is very basic, so don't be surprised when you step in. Again, the lack of customers is hindering his finishing the original vision he had hoped for. To try and stay afloat, he is changing his hours to start at 5am and close at 2pm. His breakfast tacos are a big fave of ours, and they really can kick off your day. If you find yourself near Van Alstyne, get over to Rudy's and eat something!!!!! We don't think you'll regret it.

Rudy's Kitchen has the best tortas, enchiladas and burritos in the area. Period. Rudy doesn't cut corners with his ingredients. This place is a legit Mexican food restaurant. Van Alstyne is lucky to have Rudy's here. Just writing this review is making be hungry for one of their tortas!

Very good tacos. We ordered the 5 street tacos with pork. The dish was well seasoned and came with lime and salsas on the side. The portion was just the right amount of food. Rudy's offers delicious street tacos in their purist form. Worth the stop.

Rudy's chicken salad, and street tacos, are the best! The lime based salad dressing is delicious. Food quality and taste are excellent. We highly recommend Rudy's Kitchen.

I love this place. Its my go to in the area for some great street tacos. My favorite is the street taco plater wich comes with three tacos of your choice, and rice and beans. If you like spicy then try their red sauce. Every time i eat here it got me cryin. It's hellacious good!
