Our to-go place, always wonderful service and food is always on point
Best birria tacos i have ever had i love the place definitely my favorite spot for birria tacos with a ice cold cola fire!!!!!!
Went there around 1 on Sunday. Not full service stuff. Must order at counter. Food was quick. Wife liked the quesabirilla with their chipotle salsa which was really good. I had chiquiles with verde sauce. The reason I'm giving a 3 on food is the fajita beef & barbacoa seemed reheated & it ordered over hard eggs in the chiquiles & got runny.
The food was quite delicious, and the salsa was fresh! However, the order taker got my order wrong and didn't seem to think it was my fault. Additionally, the bathroom light was off. I had to wash my hands in the dark. When I let the server know, she insisted on showing me where the light was. It was about 6 feet up near the door. But as you step into a very dark room, you will not know where it is unless you go there often or work there.
One of my go to places when I am in the area!
This is our goto in Venus and worth the drive. The Huarache is my favorite and it sERVES every time. Hubs went with pastor street tacos, tender and scrumptious. It’s never packed, so right in, order and be treated like family. Don’t forget the pastries! Pan delce, piña empanadas, and huge cookies.
Always delicious and amazing food. Staff is super kind and hospitable. Love the inside decorations and music. I keep coming back!
The food seemed out of a box microwaveed tortilla were tough like they were microwaved. Chicken was just edible bland fajitas... below average....

Such a highly recommended disappointment. I've lived in Venus 4 years and not sure if its the weekends or what. The asada is always overcooked I just spent 50 bucks and my family is asking why are these tacos so crunchy. Last time I got a torta, crunchy asada. This is our last time coming here, but just want people to know authentic food doesn't always mean its cooked right. I always feel like I'm eating meat from the previous week when I eat here.

Great food, building and service. I’ve already told 3 people they’ve gotta try this tucked away gem.

Incredibly authentic, run by the owners, and wow, what an awesome atmosphere! Not to miss, the Cafe de Olla, a traditional Mexican coffee with natural spices.

Very stingy with guacamole. Small portions. They charge for chips and salsa and give you 3 ounces of salsa for chips.
Food tastes good. Barely understand when taking your order.
To difficult I stopped going here.
Barbacoa tastes like brisket
