Lunch was exactly what we were looking for after a day of flights that began at 3:30 AM. The bean and cheese burrito was right on time and the barbacoa taco plate was very good.

If I were writing this review a half-dozen years ago, and I probably did, definitely a 5-star stop. After rave review ran in FORT WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM, the quaint little place was flooded with patrons, all impressed with all good things. We drove the 35 miles from our home numerous times in the years since, but quality has been fading, so we have not gone regularly for a couple of years. Today, we were driving through Venus, picking up take-out. What a disappointment! Rice and beans, formerly top quality, were ordinary, and extremely small portions. Chili relleno nice size, but something about it didn't seem fresh. We aren't likely to return.

Places like this don’t hardly exist anymore. Simple store that provides excellent food. I have eaten here many times and I always enjoy the food. The portions are perfect. It is nice to have a well sized meal after a long hot day. Me and my wife have ordered many things off the menu and have yet to find something we didn’t like. If you’re looking for REAL Mexican food, this place delivers.

Authentic Mex. Had the Chile relleno and beef burrito... both very good. Good fast service. Found out they have trompo tacos (Google it) which I also had in Mexico City. Can't wait to try theirs. They looked authentic and delicious!

Atmosphere? It's a corner store, so not applicable. Service? Eh, corner store service.So now the real part. There are a ton of options in the small town of Venus, TX for breakfast burritos. Throw a rock in any direction and it'll likely bounce off three taquerias. Thus far, and we havent gotten to them all yet, these burritos are top-notch. Plus, you can get beer, ice and whatever else you need on your way out.Highly recommend for any grab-and-go burrito needs.

It is a small little store front in the heart of our city square. The staff is extremely attentive! You know by reading any of my reviews that service is a must and these folks have got it right! The food is comfort food on every level with all the favor of a uptown place! The dessert counter is fully of the best pastry you have ever eaten! I love to visit the place every time I am in town!
