Kloblaschnicks (pig in a blanket) are awesome and their kolaches are really good too. The pig in the “pig in the blankets” are made with real sausage. Biscuits and gravy are good as are all the strudels.
Hi there, well I'm so glad I got to meet ya both on our special visit to Victoria for my birthday weekend. Just still sad that this shop is closing. I will go to the Halletsville shop and follow you for updates.Cindy
My family loves and regularly stop at the Kountry Bakeries in Schulenburg, Hallettsville, and Eagle Lake. We found ourselves in Victoria around breakfast time and decided to give this location a try. We were not disappointed. The baking does not occur on property and items are fresh and delicious. The two ladies that were working yesterday morning were so kind and interactive with the customers. My family really enjoyed our food and family oriented staff.
