On 01/17/2026 at about 130pm i decided to take my 13 year old son over here to have lunch together since we haven't been there in a while and i dont get to see him often. When we went in, there was no line so we ordered a couple of cheeseburgers. 10 min later a man with 2 daughters that they seemed to know real well came an ordered some chicken. We waited another 10 min and they brought his food out first. When i questioned what happened they said they were waiting on our fries. I told them that didn't maje any sense because he had fries with his order. Then they brought out our order and the cook came out and told me a different story about someone in the drive through ordering a bunch of burgers as to why my was so late. When i bit into my burger the bottom of the burger was so cold that it felt like it just came out of a freezer. They remade my order and refunded my money but the damage was already done. My son was done eating before i got my order so i had to get it to go. And then they forgot to give me the fries so i had to go back to the counter. All i wanted to do was have a nice enjoyable lunch with my son in whom i dont get to aee that much and they ruined it. I wont be back there again

Perfect spot for delicious food! We were traveling home from Port Aransas to DFW and stopped in based on posted reviews. Staff were quick and kind, location was easy to find, and the food was just what we needed after days of beach food. My son loved the wrap so much, he ordered seconds! Thank you!

I eat at country Express often they are always tasty and reliable. I was close to rating a five. If only the prices were slightly less. Overall I rate a 4.75 but that option is not given.🙂

Nothing like having to pull into a gas station because you’re almost out of gas and they are just out of regular gas so you’re stuck paying over five dollars for non-ethanol gasoline. No signs stating they are out either! And the credit card machine didn’t want to work outside. Will not go back here!

My wife and I just moved into the area and have been patroning this establishment a few times this week. Me being from NC, I threw them a curve ball on my hamburger order and ordered it carolina style (mustard, slaw, chili and onions). My wife looked at me and rolled her eyes and told me there was noone in Texas that likes cole slaw and laughed. I told her lets just see and sure enough they had to make the slaw from scratch and they knocked it out of the park. It was so delicious. It wasnt just a one time goof, because the second day was better than the first. I cant wait to eat there again.

Passing through and our family of 6 stopped here to eat. We ordered and received our meal very quickly, everyone really enjoyed the food they ordered. Staff were super friendly, if we lived nearby we would be regulars at this place!
