We love the food hete its always good, but last time we placed an order to go they left out part of an order and we had to drive all the way back from upper Mission Valley to get the rest of our order and it was cold by then.Other than that experience we have no complaints.

Came in with my father in law, he ordered chicken fried steak, and I chose the second item down which was supposed to be chicken fried chicken. They bring out our orders and his steak was so large it needed a second plate. That's impressive.
Then comes my order and I thought it might be a joke.. because that does not look like pics I see online of this chicken. It looked more like a chicken patty and was maybe 6 oz of chicken? He took one look and cut one end off his steak and put it on my plate. (see the picture of the small piece of steak he put on my plate, which is almost the size of the chicken I received.
Did you run out of your normal chicken?
The staff was friendly, and it was a Saturday night. The chicken did not taste bad, but it did not even look like the same breading as you use. Really disappointed. I just had to laugh because I know this is an anomaly... maybe that was the last piece and a half order?
Please do better, because that dish cost exactly the same as the steak.. it does not make sense.

Called the restaurant to ask why I didn't get gravy and was told I don't know why you didn't get gravy but there's nothing I can do for you. Great customer service.
If you love old school, come here. If you love to cut your chicken fried steak with a plastic butter knife, come here. If you want some of the best fried shrimp you'll ever taste, come here. Love it here!! I've never been disappointed. Great place, decent prices.

Our first time here. It was recommended by the receptionist at our Dr's office. It did not disappoint. Our waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable of her job. The chicken fried steak was phenomenal, just like the receptionist recommended. My husband had the shrimp basket it was good as well. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
All they do when you call in is place you on hold. I was put on hold for 15 minutes I hung up called in the second time put on hold for 15 minutes. I tried to explain they put me on hold twice on the third call I was put on hold again. They said they were busy when I went to pick up my food there was no one there. This is every time if they can’t handle phone in orders hire more people or come up with an app. They need help
