Frances Marie's Restaurant & Cantina

I had been anticipating trying this restaurant since had recently opened. We were greeted and seated quickly and that is the best of this scenario, given our waters and stale chips with salsa. We asked for fresher and was replaced with some more of the same. My husband order the Del Rio platter and I ordered a Beef Fajita Taco Salad with a Carne Guisada Soft Taco. The platter came with a very questionable cheese enchilada and a blan guisada taco. The beans and rice were good but nothing to really get excited about. My taco salad shell was soft like it had soaked the grease up and the asada meat was burnt and dry. I definitely left this places extremely disappointed.

Ordered fajitas enchiladas. They were served on street tacos (not Normal corn shell) meat was 1/4 inch cubes and had more mushrooms than meat. Beans and rice was okay. Serve was excellent. Would I go back? I would have to think very hard about.

Burger &,frys were cold and could have been better hot than cold. Service wasn't so great the tray of food was out but not giving to people until a while, setting on big tray getting cold. When I got my burger, we were waiting for about 6minute before they service my husband, his burger, while sitting on a service tray until I had to get the waitress that we were waiting for husband burger. Then, wait for 3 minutes to get mayo and ketchup. First time bad.

Love the atmosphere! My husband went on a Friday date and sat at the bar. What a surprise to find one of our favorite bar tenders and his wife there! They make amazing drinks!

The girl at the drive thru window with glasses on is really rude and had us wait for chips and salsa for about 20 minutes that just ridiculous and you should teach this girl manners and the parents more so they are the one that raised her poor people who go there to eat and are hungry and then she says" Well we could just give you your money back instead the ittle brat gave me my hard earned money and I took off and never will eat at this place ever and will spread the word ...no apologies needed it's too late for already just teach her how to treat customers that are of the same race

All the dishes were Delish Enchiladas Verdes, Big Tex Burrito, Francis Marie's Fajita with Tarascas sauce, and the Victoria Chicken..thank you Bobby our server...she gave us excellent service and our hats off to the cook Carlos!! This is not a 5 star but a 10 star Restaurant!!!
