If you call and place an order and they tell you 30 minutes expect it to be 45 minutes or longer if not an hour . . Bartender was snooty when I told her that her timing was off . I don’t mind waiting , but don’t tell me 30 minutes if it won’t be ready in 30 minutes . Its Simple . Great establishment , and great food . But needs better time management.My first bite of my burger was good , but it was a under done so I couldn’t eat it, my stomach turns after biting into food that’s pink, this isn’t my first time here and it won’t be my last , but I’m disappointed in this visit .Also they should work on how they assemble the burgers . They dress them upside down , which results in withered soggy lettuce, flat smooshed tomatoes, and a very soggy nasty bottom bun.I’ll probably give them another shot in the future , rarely eat out but after $45 dollars later plus a tip and a drive from goliad I’m just disappointed, and still hungry. Hope others have a better experience than I did today.Beer batter fries are my favorite but probably better if you eat them there fresh instead of take out , they don’t hold well during travel.Place seems like a place for locals only, however it was very inviting upon entering .Plus side , the beer is ice cold and they have pool tables, you can also smoke inside.

The onion rings were large and a nice brown color, good light flavor. The guys had burgers and said they were good. I had grilled cheese it was so so. Service was good, attentive waitress. The food did take a while.

Beer is cold, order your food on your way, sit, have a cold drink, some onion rings, fries or beer batter fries. Everything is great. Don’t get in a hurry. The best ?

Let me start by saying it's going to be a while before you get your food. The kitchen is small, and only one person is cooking. That being said, it's worth the wait. The food is made to order so it's hot when you get it. With the exception of the rolls, everything is made in house. If I'm wrong about the rolls, she needs to open a bakery. The jury is out about the coleslaw being done in house, but if you're a slaw snob like I am, you're going to like it. Girlfriend said the mashed potatoes were the best she's had from a commercial kitchen. Tonight's special was fried chicken. So this is where this place separates itself from others.. This was home-style fried chicken, not the breaded crap that everyone else serves.. Skin-on chicken pieces that are spiced to perfection. Keep in mind that anything fried is best enjoyed wishing minutes of being served. So if you get it to go, it's not expected to be crispy after that 10-15 minute drive home. With all that being said, call in your order early, and eat dine in. I will definitely be returning. Chef Del.

Best home cooking!!!! Great food and excellent wait staff. You get way more than your money's worth. You can call in your order and then arrive when it's time to eat, or you can even pick it up to go. Give them a try; you will be glad you did.
