This place didn't look like much from the outside, but the food was simply outstanding! Excellent pickle chips, and wonderful shrimp/catfish/gator platter. The gumbo was amazing, seriously! By the time it was brought to the table I didn't think I would find room to eat it, but I polished the bowl thinking: it's the best gumbo ever! Very prompt and nice service, too. Priced right. I wish we lived closer to this place, because we would be there very often.

I just had the shrimp and catfish combo that was wonderful. Crispy , NONgreasy , and the shrimp were tender . The owners are very friendly and eager to please. I highly recomend Jingo Cajun Eatery !

The owner and staff where so welcoming . Let's get to the food...I did a boil bag, and I gotta say by far one of the best I've ever had. Hubby did fish and shrimp. Their batter is amazing...all items cooked perfectly. We also tried the egg rolls...wow so good.

Traveling through Vidor on the way to Florida Wanted some boudin used the drive thru Best boudin balls ever Forgot to order ice tea so added to order they comped my tea and brought order to our car as we were walking our dogs Great friendly service We will stop again as we return home if open Must try the boudin balls
Yeah. You want to go here. The owner was so nice and patient with us as we asked questions and figured out what to order. If you like wings, you need to try their wings. They have the most delicious crispy coating. We ordered 10 wings, 5 with the salt and pepper seasoning, 5 with lemon pepper. The batter is some sort of magic. We ordered the crawfish pistolette appetizer as a new-to-us dish. They were akin to mini fried sweet bread bowls doused in crawfish love. My son ate an entire pound of the boiled shrimp with garlic butter. My hubby had the catfish and fried okra. It was all delicious. Next time we come through town this is our place to eat.

First off I want to say I LOVE THIS PLACE the food is amazing the guy who I assume owns the place is amazing and friendly. I honestly don’t know why they are not busy more often now secondly I want to say I do not leave bad reviews usually unless there is a really good reason to and this is in hopes the owner sees it because I would hate for him to lose business over me not speaking up but anyway Me and my fiancé ate there tonight for a date night which we don’t get much of. Everything was great the owner helped with my order I accidentally messed up and he was very kind about it and the food was great the atmosphere was great UNTIL he left and the cashier (younger girl not sure of her name) instantly got on FaceTime with someone mind you we are like 10 feet away from her and she starts talking to her friend on FaceTime EXTREMELY loud about extremely inappropriate and unprofessional things. I will not type what she said for the sake of this business BUT let’s just say I know all her family drama now. When I was trying to converse with my fiancé he could not hear me because she was talking that loud on FaceTime. I never want to ruin someone’s job but in my opinion this place DESERVES more business then any other restaurant in vidor and I hate that this young lady is getting paid to work and instead of being professional she is potentially scaring customers off. Personally I will go back but the next person might not.

I just wanted to say this place was absolutely fabulous! Not only were our crawfish so delicious, they peeled easily, and came out in a timely manner as well! The staff were absolutely amazing. Very polite, and attentive. They constantly made sure we had what we needed and were friendly. The Owner Fez was so sweet and greeted us as well. He checked up on us to ask how things were as well. Overall 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for somewhere to try crawfish or get some that taste amazing this is your place! I wish the owner and his sweet wife nothing but blessings for their business.
