Portion/plate size heavily misrepresented in menu for the Fajita Trio. The menu needs a more accurate picture, or the plate needs to match it. Disappointing amount of all three proteins. Sides were a lot smaller than shown as well.

The food was not memorable. Overpriced and the food was bland. I’d rather go to a small non-chain, hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant for good authentic Mexican food. This is a place where people who don’t know where to find good Mexican food go to.

Loved this restaurant, food was excellent, drinks were amazing and the waitstaff was knowledgeable and kind. The reason for 4 stars is the front desk girls were very rude and not helpful at all. We are new to the area and asked a few questions and they were not helpful. Also called in to see if we could order drinks to go and the front staff was again very rude and we were told we couldn't do that without ordering food which is not the case. I will all the staff was as helpful and friendly as the waitstaff.

Stayed at the Hyatt Place across the street for 3 nights so decided to walk on over since my wife absolutely loves Abuelo's and we don't have one at home. We went twice, first on Friday night and once again on Sunday night. Both times were seated promptly and had our drink orders taken. We placed our orders and the food arrived in prompt fashion. The food itself was excellent and the service was great. My only complaint was on Friday night our waitress was attending to the table beside us and went on a rant about those "vaccines" that seemed to last forever. I get people have varying opinions of stuff like that but you don't bring that to your job and subject customers to your political beliefs. Had it not been for that it would have been two excellent dining experiences.

Dinner near the hotel and it was great. The tortilla soup was tasty and the pork tenderloin dish was delicious. Finished the meal with the flan dessert. Staff were professional and attentive. Prices were more than reasonable. Ample parking!

Delicious Mexican food with reasonable prices for weekday lunch specials and great service make this an a wonderful place to eat. I had the sour cream enchiladas with rice and beans lunch special. The quantity was generous. The chips had 3 dipping sauces (regular was best, green/citrus/lime was good too). Sopapillas with honey were a great dessert.

I grew up with the original location, and Abuelos is ALWAYS good food. Reliably good. You will never have a bad meal at an Abuelos.
We’ve lived here about 3 years, but didnt notice them until used Trip Advisor tonight. Great atmosphere & help. We split a single order of steak & shrimp fajitas + 4 good bar drinks, tab was about $47, plus tip. Nice waitress (“Bri”). Will eat there often; wish we’d seen them before!!

We were in town for a funeral and asked the manager (Dan) for a quiet area for our 10 person group. When we arrived we were escorted to a private room which was perfect for our group. Nicole was our wait person and she did an exceptional job taking care of the group. The food was excellent and came to the table hot and timely. We would return if we find ourselves in the area again.

We had supper here last night, the food and service were great. This was the experience I have come to expect from Abuelo’s. Definitely recommend the Durango Burrito and a frozen margarita.
