The food was mediocre for the price except for the wedge salad. It was delicious. Our waitress confused our order and seemed to be in a hurry. I was surprised how empty the place was for a Saturday night. It’s really dark inside, but the brick is beautiful. Be sure to have a flashlight to see the menu.

Great little spot. The ambiance of the place was amazing. Price point is a little high for the quality of the food. It was a good meal. The deconstruction beef Wellington was also not what I was expecting. Martini was perfect! Good date night spot.

Great service..Cody was a very good server...great atmosphere...and the food was good...if the mash potatoes were a tad more creamer and lamb had more gravy...I would have rated it 5 stars....but overall great place ...we'll be back.

Hidden gem of Waco! Truly a pleasure. Went for our anniversary and everything was impeccable. First timers and didn’t disappoint. Wish I remembered the servers name, she was knowledgeable, so nice and attentive!! Oysters and drinks were great. Very moody and intimate atmosphere, great for small gatherings. Will definitely be back!!

We had a 7:30pm reservation but weren’t seated until 8:00pm. By 9:50pm, we were still waiting on a single plate of salmon—after already being told they had run out of the evening’s special we originally ordered. The level of disorganization and lack of communication from both management and staff was unacceptable. This experience was deeply disappointing, and unfortunately, there will be no second chance for this establishment to make it right.

This was our first time there, and it was outstanding. The server was pleasant, and Introduced herself, took appetizer & drink order. Mixed drinks were great, food was very tasty,and hot. Atmosphere was quaint and quiet and very friendly and very comfortable. If your looking for a nice relaxing night out for a date night and some great drinks & food to unwind, this is the place to go! Would highly recommend!! 5 stars all the way!!

We had an incredible date night at 1424 Bistro. We shared the saganaki (outstanding, unique appetizer), my husband got the orange roughy, and I got the halibut. Everything was spectacular. Very flavorful and fresh. Our server was Kristin and she was so helpful and kind. Don’t miss out on this wonderful restaurant..especially on these beautiful Spring nights out on the patio.
