This was an older established Applebee’s disappointed once again that no matter where I go in the United States Applebee’s food quality is not what it used to be but the service was great. I just wish they would improve the flavor and quality of their food

I want to give this place 5 stars, I really do...The food is amazing, and the drinks are solid. I've never really gotten a disappointing meal here, and they're open pretty late so it's a great place for night owls.The issue is that every time I've gone there, they have been chronically understaffed. The waitstaff do their best, and are attentive to the extent that they can be... but for whatever reason, I've just never seen enough staff-to-patron ratio, and I've gone off and on for years.But the food is solid, and for rowdy large groups who like TV, it's a good bet. I just dont recommend it for fast service.

Had a party of 8. The guy who seated us told us it wasn’t his job and he don’t get paid to clean the seats out. Seat had food from previous customer in it. I kept cool and cleaned seat out myself. The waiter Nisha made the night. She was very sweet and attentive to our needs. She didn’t miss a beat and checked on us frequently. She saved what could have been a disaster for management and my party of 8.
The food was mediocre at best. It took 45 minutes to GET our food and when we did it was not even really warm. When it came to the payment there were several options for the tip and they started with 18% and UP! NOT ON YOUR LIFE! There was THANKFULLY a spot for NO TIP. I pressed on that, but left some money on the table for the waitress according to what I thought was fair. I did feel the waitress deserved a little extra simply because it was a HOLIDAY! Outrageous that a restaurant would try to be so pushy about the tip when they are so uninspiring with their food and service. Won't be returning.

My family and I, were in Waco for the weekend and decided to stop here before heading out.After sitting for 5 min , we noticed that Dylan was our waiter ( had multiple tables ) / bar tender.I am extremely happy with the way Dylan kept making sure we had everything we needed.Our waiter Dylan was great from the beginning! We just felt bad because we saw how hard he was working!Thank you Dylan.

This is one of those Applebee's that appears to be hanging on for dear life. The entire restaurant needs a complete makeover, as it looks and feels very old. While the food was very good, it took a long time to get it out to us. Our server was very friendly, but not the quickest. Biggest issue is that the whole place needs a deep cleaning, from entryway to bathrooms. I put that squarely on management's shoulders. Totally understand the challenge it is to hire consistent employees in today's environment, but a lot can be done in spite of that.
Jaylyn was awesome on a Friday night.
