My daughter always wanted to go to one of these places. We had a good experience. Very good!
Used to be my favorite place to go, but it has definitely gone downhill and the cashiers just don’t have a clue it seems. Asked for a balance on my gift card and they didn’t know how to do that. And today my total was $5.19 and I gave her a $10 bill and 18 cents and said oh I have $.18 but I can find another penny, hang on a minute. She replied, Oh no, that’s fine, don’t worry about it….. Then gave me $4.99 back in change. 🤨 Then after I drove off, it wasn’t even what I ordered. But I will still go back because I do like it.
Today was the 3rd time I’ve come here and had to wait 30 minutes or longer in the drive thru. The wait time is extremely too long. I’ve visited many Bahama Bucks (in Houston) and NEVER waited this long. Very disappointed in the level of customer service here. No one greets you, and you sit at the window waiting for just as long as when you’re in the drive thru line trying to place your order. Staff was behind the counter eating snos I guess that were leftover from someone driving out of the drive thru. Just very disappointing. Saw one girl licking her fingers and then touching orders afterwards without washing her hands.
The wait time for in house and drive through is ridiculous…. No one knows what they’re doing. The snow cones and smoothies are inconsistent and taste wrong half the time. I don’t know what happened to that blonde manager but when she worked, service was fast and everything was consistent. She had everyone doing something and everything was smooth. This location needs new management/ownership. It shouldn’t take 45+ minutes for 3 snow cones and the employees should know how to do their job.
Sat in line for about 15 minutes and then sat at the window for another five without the girl even acknowledging me. This place needs a better system because it shouldn’t take longer to get a snowcone and then it Does to go through some other place where they actually cook your food. I understand that things have to be done, but it takes two seconds to at least make eye contact hold up a finger and say I’ll be right with you. Finally drove off because the girl once done with whatever she was doing on the monitor walked away to talk to someone else. All while my order was sitting there melting. Won’t be back.

Absolutely the WORST Bahamas Bucks I've ever been to. We were in Waco visiting friends & stopped by the restaurant around 3 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. A young child puked on the floor splattering on to me & my shoes (not my kid, a different customer). The young girl who came to clean it had no clue what to do. The other girls were to busy talking to their friends to help. I told her the steps to take & she was super grateful. unfortunately during this same time they gave me half of my order & didn't give me the rest. After I told them we were missing our birthday cake snocone, a different girl made it. there was no flavoring in it though. it was literally ice, cream & sprinkles. we paid for a scoop of ice cream in the snocone. that was also missing. It was very obvious that there was NO manager on duty & the teenagers who were working (more like playing) didn't care to make it right. we drove 3 hours to get to Waco & this was the absolute WORST part of our trip.
Well for starters I paid damn near 12dollars for 2snow cones small snow cones at that. I always get tiger's blood nd banana, was not tiger's blood. Nd how do u make a snow cone without Xtra juice or even enough juice. The bottom half of my cup was pure white shaved ice. The other snow cone had a white center where the juice missed it completely. I want my dawg back please. I want my money back...
They never have enough working here on a busy summer night. I was in the drive thru for almost an hour. Only two people working working both the drive thru and inside.
I waited in drive through lane for 45 minutes! Better management needed! As soon as I could get out I left without what I ordered! I won’t be back!

We waited at least 45 minutes for our snow cone, was with my daughter and her two cousins, the cousins got their 10 minutes before ours, even tho we ordered together. It is the second time this month we had to wait for at least 45 minutes just for some ice with syrup on it. They need some more workers and an actual adult there working.
Terrible service. Very disorganized employees. They ran out of popular flavors and ice blocks. We never received our order but were refunded. There are much better sno cone places in Waco.
They were extremely slow, I understand it can be busy but 25 minutes for two sodas is ridiculous. There was no carbonation in the sprite and it tasted awful, when I told the worker she just said okay. We had to ask for soda to be made correctly.
I wanted to update my review: the staff is great and very helpful! Drive thru is always fast
