I wanted to love this place. The coffee is good taste wise but the drinks aren't made properly. We ordered 2 breves and the chick kept asking if we wanted water in it. From my knowledge, breves are half n half and espresso. Then she kept asking us if we wanted odd things in an iced latte. The breves came out, one being obviously heavier than the other. Cool building and coffee shop. Probably won't return just because we know the drinks aren't made right

Photos looked cool but when we walked in.... I'm was just an espresso machine and a small display case with three scones in a gift shop. I guess it's good for a quick grab and go? But we walked right out so can't speak to the coffee/scones.

Best Coffee ever! delicious, well roasted and perfectly brewed coffee in a very cozy, unique and relaxed space. Don't missed the opportunity to enjoy yourself and savor the moment with a warm or cold cup of coffee.

BRU is still a super cool spot. The barista station is inside of an old elevator within one of the age old buildings in Waco. The staff is always very kind, and the coffee tastes great. Owners are great people.

The definition of a hidden gem at the back of the building on the southwest corner of 6th and Franklin. The bar itself operates out of the original elevator shaft. Why is that important? There's one machine and one attendant, so your drink will not be rushed. Drop in and enjoy.

We ordered the Lait - Cold Bru with Milk & Breve - Latte. Made with care and it's a really unique cool place. Good vibes.

Love this little place! The Coffee Shop portion is in an old Elevator. So cool! Small menu but very good. We had a regular Mocha and a Oat milk Mocha. Not too sweet and the coffee was delicious Love to find local places like this. Great find.

I thought it was going to be pretentious but this place is so cool. You order from like an old elevator shaft!! So neat. The man working (Saturday may 11th) was so sweet and attentive. Let me smell all the teas I was thinking of trying!! Very helpful, would go back next time I am in Waco!

This place had such a cute and creative vibe! The guy who helped us out was so friendly and knowledgeable and had some great suggestions! I got the mango iced tea and loved it! There isn't much seating but it's a cute place!

The best coffee shop in Waco! It's a hidden gem with the best baristas in town. The perfect study or meeting spot!

I really wanted to like this place. However, once you get past the ooh and ahh of the barista pulling shots in an out of service elevator, the coffee is pretty average at best. I thought there would be more flavor options available for a latte, but that wasn't the case. It's a cute little place to snap pics for Instagram if that's your thing. For me, the McCafé I had the day before was more satisfying.

Stopped in Waco for a break and decided to get some coffe. Their cold brew is wonderful! It's got that classy sour acidic taste and paired with just the right amount of sweet (faint but delectable). Loved it

My boyfriend had a business meeting in Waco and I tagged along. After checking out magnolia market I went to find a coffee shop to get a drink and hangout until his meeting ended. I found BRU. It's a really cute place to hangout and have a coffee. As others have mentioned, the chairs aren't very comfortable for a coffee shop, but nothing awful. I got a cold brew and it was pretty good. The barista working was really friendly and he delivered my drink to the table I was sitting at after it was made.
