Communication is key to a successful business. If you are out of the bun that goes with the original chicken sandwich than tell the customer BEFORE they pay. An unpleasant surprise isn’t good for anyone!

how hard is it to read “no tomatoes” on an order? i’ve been in the food industry enough to know it’s not hard to read those screens unless you’re blind or have no clue of the menu. if i WAS allergic to tomatoes you’d have some issues on your hand. figure it out please and thanks. your team will hurt someone by not looking at those screens. 1/3 my fault cause i should have looked at food before i left but come on. it’s a chicken sandwich with no tomatoes. it’s not hard. can’t have it my way if burger king employees can’t real NO TOM off a screen that has different color words. smh

The experience here used to be better but something has happened at the store in Waco recently that seems to have changed that.
They used to give you free refills and I even tried to get absolute confirmation before I ever took advantage of that service.
I asked if it that was really company policy and the staff assured me that it was.
I've been told many times that you can refill your drink for free, even if you aren't buying anything, which still admitedly sounds strange.
This store needs to have some policy review regarding this though because there is deffinitely some miscommunication somewhere
However, the problem that I experienced yesterday was not with the refills really, but with the attitude of staff leadership in general and with the lack of a clear policy about the issue of refills.
There is never a reason to be rude to your customers, especially those that come back, and they have become extremely rude there.
The attitude of the manager today was bad. I rarely see her but when I do, she seems to look for a way to be difficult.
I don't know why that is but it seems to be getting worse there and I think that the level of indifference to her customer rubs off on her employees who now feel like it's okay to be rude to people.
I am not as frequent of a customer as I used to be and that's as a direct result as of being treated so rudely there as well as the overall environmental conditions that are seen here.
For example, employees are allowed to hang out in front of the store and smoke cigarettes and marijuana and whatever else right in front of the customer.
It's not exactly the most appetizing scene right in front of a food establishment to say the least.
I sincerely hope that the attitude of the staff here at Burger King improves and I am of'course happy to remove this comment if it ever does.

Food was terrible disgusting and I had mold on my burger and they gave me a new one but it still tasted disgusting
FOOD SUCKS!! Service sucks! Horrible attitudes burnt nuggets… both orders burnt!! Don’t eat here this place sucks. Wish I could give zero stars! Reviewing so ppl see this and go somewhere else.
Ordered food.. no ice in machine... get ice... sodas all flat no flavor.. we let the lady at the front know... rudely "i cant control how it comes out"... she proceeds to test every soda... "it's fine" "it's fine" it's fine" "all sodas go flat sir". She was so rude we got our food to go and my wife had to leave before snapping back at her.. we will personally not go back to this location... just because of the lady in the front with the tattoos on her face.

No paper towels and the air dryer was inoperable in the restroom, in addition to paper was all over the floor. Staff was advised, although nobody went in there while picking up my to-go order.
I just left and this location doesn’t close until 12 and it’s 11 o’clock and they said they were closed and were playing on the headset saying the register had just broke 2 minutes ago. This location needs to be shut down
My last TWO visits I was refused service because they "didn't have any food ready". The most recent time was an online order which said it would take 5-7 business days to process my refund. Luckily the refund went through within a few minutes so atleast someone somewhere in the company is doing their job!
I mean it is Burger King I shouldn’t expect anything more. Terrible customer service and food.

Came to Burger King on 9/23/24. Had ordered ahead on the app. Went through the drive-thru and when I got to the window the Caucasian older chick told me they couldn't give us the shake we ordered because the machine was down. I told her that we had ordered online so how do we go about getting a refund then? She says they can either substitute or I would have to take it up with the app for a refund because they had nothing to do with that (All this being said rudely). Long story short. She had closed the window on me mid-sentence so at that point I'm livid. She doesn't want to give me her name so I can complain to corporate about her poor cs skills. Says she legally doesn't have to give me her name. I call BS. She tells the younger white chick to just close the window on me. I sit in the drive-thru waiting. She sends over the manager and he helps me with doing the refund on the app. The whole time this girl child is running her mouth in the background. Even had the manager annoyed and he said they'd write her up and kept apologizing. I don't recommend coming here. I'm honestly so done with this place and glad I was able to keep my cool through it all. I have contacted corporate by email to fix this matter. FYI don't bother to call the number that pops up on Google because it doesn't work. I had to email BK through the app to get a response.

So let me start off by saying that these 5 stars are for the staff, particularly a staff member named Sheila (hope I spelled that right). My mom recently finished brain radiation for cancer treatment. Unfortunately that caused her to develop a form of dementia. This has been really heartbreaking for my family and I.
On one particularly tough day, I swung by this Burger King to grab food and Sheila was so kind, warm, and sweet. It may sound silly, but that small act of warmth & kindness turned my day around. I have to say that every time she is working she is this way. To the extent that I actually go slightly out of my way to come to this Bk because of her.
Burger King, please give this woman a raise!

Asked for everything fresh. Guy at drive thru was very rude. Had to give half of food back. Asked for fresh. Again he is very rude. Pull around to front, very harshly ( we were told )
Practically threw our food to us. Very rude young man. Why is it so hard to do what is Asked of you. I'm paying for the food. It's not like I asked him anything too difficult. Very unpleasant experience. I have seen and spoke to the manager at this store. She was always super sweet. But not her employee. Rethinking about EVERY COMING BACK TO THIS BURGER KING. Yes. Very upset ? ???
