We got the "potato skins" & "homemade rosemary chips". We also got the BLT sandwich & chicken salad sandwich. The sandwiched were great! The service was great!. The potato skins was a baked potato cut up about an inch thick and the slices laid down with toppings on top. We were expecting potato SKINS, not a whole baked potato. The homemade rosemary chips were ruffled lays chips topped with. Rosemary. We were expecting actual homemade chips since that's what the menu stated.

Such a fun little n*** oasis! Love the vibes with all the table top games and posters. The food was super delicious and worth the wait. The servers were so kind and brought a side of avocado for my baby and we're super happy to answer any of our many questions. I wish I had more days to be here so I could come back and sample more of the menu. ?

I haven't ever tried their food, but my mom and I went in for a favor delivery and, with me being a huge n**** I geeked out! I love this place so much and hope I can visit again!! I also love the Predator head on the wall and the Pokemon cards in the back!!!

1st of all you can’t hardly find the place such a small sign, coffee is like weak tea, worst I’ve ever had ….. had boss boy, Biscuit was like rubber , and wife’s latte was pretty but tasted like it was from a cappuccino machine. Save yourself the trouble and just go to McDonalds. Also, why would a breakfast place charge for refill’s on the coffee??

We came here based on reviews—I would always prefer to try something unique and local over a national chain ? I questioned whether this place was actually a restaurant as we pulled into the parking lot. It’s in an older strip mall and looked…suspicious lol. There’s a tiny sign for “Butter My Biscuit” and a HUGE sign for “King’s Landing”, I was like what the heck? But we went in and it’s like: Comic Con meets breakfast cafe. The food is AMAZING and our server was AMAZING (I’m sorry I do not recall her name for a shoutout). It’s small, there is limited seating, and the largest table would hold maybe 5 people. Gaming (Pokémon & RPG & stuff) in the back. I have young children and I probably would not bring them to eat a full meal here. But a cinnamon roll snack while they play Pokémon would be right up their alley. Seriously great food and we will definitely be back!!

I would give this place a 4.5 if I could. :) My family and I just visited Butter my Biscuit Cafe from Minnesota and overall really enjoyed it! The food was amazing, and the service was wonderful - but the atmosphere was not exactly what we expected. We were a party of 6, so we ended up sitting at a folding table in a backroom which doubled as a video game store. We love finding local hole in the wall type restaurants when we travel, so this definitely fit the bill, but we were all super confused by the setting. We thought it was funny though and decided to enjoy it as part of the experience. So yeah, other than being a bit surprised by the atmosphere, loved the food (the biscuits and cheesy grits were incredible!) and service - would definitely go back!

The food was exceptional. The service was great. The French toast, tacos, and biscuits were fantastic. Jennifer our waitress was so friendly and efficient. The owner and baker Lee came out to talk to us. Don't miss this gem of a restaurant.

fantastic. i started not to make a review so poeple wouldn't start going. It's already really hard to get in. But it has the most amazing food. The service is so good I even looked up the manager to tell her that. Their biscuits are not for dieters. They are amazing, and huge. 1 will barely fit in a small container. Everything there is good. The menu is long so ask for one and look at it while you wait for a table. You WILL have to wait. It is the most popular place in Waco right now. The only weird thing is they don't have jelly. It's a biscuit place but no jelly or syrup or honey

First time trying this place. I got biscuits n gravy today.. and the biscuits were hard n burnt on the top n bottom. I ended up..just eating the middle part. The gravy n bacon was really good tho.

Fabulous hometown café with the most amazing breakfast. Dani, our waitress had such a great attitude and took care of us even showing us back into the game room that they have with old-school Atari and Nintendo games and memorabilia. You will not leave hungry! I had the four egg scramble with homemade buttermilk biscuit. I have to mention the entire staff was so friendly and made you feel at home.

Read some good reviews about this restaurant, and we decided to visit. We had about an hour wait but it it so worth the wait. The food is homemade goodness! The biscuits just melt in your mouth. The cheesy grits are delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Great ambient vibe. Can't wait to get back.

We finally made it by when we could get a seat and we were very pleased we did. The atmosphere was fun and very unique. The menu is full of the yummiest treats. It was hard the pick. The wife had What Brent Had when a side of the Cranberry Orange French Toast with a Cranberry Drizzle. I had the Roast Beef Sandwich with chips and a side of the famous biscuit. You get there when they open or be prepared to wait a bit. We topped it off with there signature Bloody Mary. See you soon guys!
