This food was not good, service was even worse, order came out wrong we weren’t all able to eat together. Not a good experience. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

My wife and I chose well when we were through Waco yesterday. I wanted to show her Health Camp for the famous burgers, but we were due for a stretch and a proper sit, so we decided to take a chance to Brazos Landing. It was perfect. Highlights: William at the bar helping make it the special stop it was. We will certainly be back on our next trip. Recommend: shrimp & grits, Southern Roots IPA.

Love this place. One of my favorite go to restaurants for oysters on the half shell and some great Cajun and Creole offerings. Service was great when I visited.
Loved this restaurant! Great food and service.

My husband had the Snapper and he loved it I had the Sea Bass and it was excellent! For dessert we had the lemon cheesecake and it was very good! The bakery chef is very good and makes unique desserts.

Had a delicious late lunch early dinner at the Brazos Landing. We’ve eaten here a long time ago… since then they’ve really amped up a notch and it’s a really lovely place. Food is delicious…. I had the grouper piccata and my husband had the pan seared salmon… Bang bang, shrimp and peach cobbler were amazing as well. We’re passing through so we didn’t have any alcoholic beverages but everything we saw them bring by looked yummy….

Ex cell ent! They ha d a gr eat lun ch menu sel ect ion and good pri ces We l oo k fo rward to re turn in.
Everything was overcooked. Couldn't tell the difference between fried fish, alligator, oysters as they were all so heavily breaded that it all tasted the same. And my wife's shrimp etoufe was basically mush with shrimp scattered through it.

We waited for 45 minutes for our food and we when asked the owner was rude. Told us that if we wanted food faster then go to McDonalds. She was very rude, we ended up walking out.

We came into town today for the week, and after reading great reviews, decided to try The Brazos Landing. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty dead but we attributed that to it being 7pm on a Sunday. Our waitress Jasmine was very friendly, and our drink order was fulfilled promptly. The beer was cold, and both of us enjoyed our selections. My wife and I were both excited about the menu, as so many things sounded great. I ended up getting the Ultimate Platter as it had quite a few things that I wanted to try. For our daughter we ordered the kids catfish. My wife had the spinach salad, lobster bisque, and Brussels sprouts. We were both, rather quickly, disappointed with the food. The seafood ettouffe I had was very bland, and felt like it was rice, veggies, shrimp and crawdads bathing in tomato sauce. I picked the seafood out, but left the rest sitting in the bowl. The andouille, boudin balls, and red beans were, however really good. With that said, the fried catfish was just about the worst I have ever had. I'm not sure if it was the seasoning, or the breading, but the catfish was totally washed out by the other ingredients. We ended up leaving almost all of it on the plate. My wife enjoyed the sale and Brussels sprouts, but the lobster bisque left a lot to be desired. Overall, definitely not worth the $100 for the meal.
