Cindy our server was fabulous. A great place to meet friends halfway between Austin and Dallas. The food was excellent. We will be back.

My fiancé and I were here for our rehearsal dinner. The owner and the manager came out made sure that everything was perfect. The atmosphere was amazing and the waiters were very responsive. The short rib and banana foster bites were delicious! I highly recommend anyone taking the opportunity to have a special dinner here.

The reason I visited this location was because of the location. It’s right off the bridge next to 35 and Waco not very visible right off the highway, but I gave it a shot. I love seating outside by the bar area with views of the river and plenty of space for a nice group gathering, try their hurricane you won’t be disappointedKid-friendliness: Kids meals were definitely filled with variety. My daughter loved the chicken tenders.

This cute little restarting has a cozy atmosphere along the Brazos River. I love that they have indoor seating options with huge windows, or a covered patio that can also be fully enclosed. The food is pretty good, not the best I've had but it's decent. My husband said his steak was good, and I really enjoyed the chicken fried steak sliders as my meal. Their portions are also very generous! The side of brussle sprouts were not good however, they were soggy and had a weird taste. I just would many order those again. The service has always been wonderful the few times we've been here. Very sweet and attentive waitresses! I would recommend trying this place at least once.

Ordered the Shrimp Lagrange.. nothing like picture.. Shrimp was over cooked very dry, and looks nothing like the picture on website l even asked waitress is this the Shrimp Lagrange items.. she said yes… served with a corn.. nothing stating that on description of the item served with lightly warm rice, dried out shrimp and this corn mixture… please don’t deceive your customers… sorry.Husband got the porkchop he said it was excellent…I never write reviews but I don’t want someone to make the same mistake I did that cost $25 for not such a great meal… my bad for not returning it…

The location on the river has always been special. Unfortunately the fun environment of Buzzard Billy is no more. Great Cajun and rolls to throw to the ducks have been replaced with black tablecloths and a sterile environment. The place was nearly empty on this Saturday night, suggesting that people in Waco already knew that the place so many used to love is dead and gone. Cajun food isn't meant to be fancy. It's meant to have soul and life. The food was bland and way overpriced. Leave this place to the buzzards. They might enjoy ravaging on the remains of what used to be a special place.

Killer food although it's pretty pricey the view is great from the bar but the management is very prickish about fishing outside on the state owned bridge,(you don't own the water )

The food was good. A little pricey for the meal in my opinion. Main course was huge. The dessert was overpriced.Atmosphere was of an upscale restaurant although everyone was dressed casual (jeans and T-shirt ok).We weren't in a hurry but our food came out in a timely fashion.Menu is a lot of seafood, Cajun food, some regular items like chicken fried steak, and hamburger.Would eat here again.

Had to wait nearly 1 hour to receive our food. Water was not refilled for 45 minutes.

The atmosphere is great! It's by the river, fancy indoors, laid-back outdoors. The host was nice, the server got our orders in, I ordered the shrimp and it tasted like it was just a reheated bag of frozen shrimp. Husband got the burger- no mustard in it and the waitress took awhile to ask if we needed anything he just ate his burger without it. On the rare occasion our waitress asked if we needed anything it's almost as if she was expecting a "no" and would practically take off before we'd answer. If the place didn't have such an awesome atmosphere, I would've been really disappointed. On a positive note, it's cool how the garage window/doors open up and how they had an officer by the front!

Fabulous food! Had the Cajun Combo and the flavor was spot on! Make sure to try the Swamp Soup! The restaurant is the only one you will find on the Brazos River thus making it the best place for catching those beautiful Texas sunset views. The service can't be beat. Friendly staff throughout the place ready to assist whatever you request.
