We came to this place in search of our favorite dish, the crawfish etoufee. It's always been soooo good but this last time, the chef maybe changed the sauce but it was not good. Our server, however, was extremely kind and accommodating and all she worried about was us walking out hungry due to our disappointment. She tried to offer many different options in place of our food but we didn't want anything else. Sierra was the best. Very professional and so kind and patient with our frustration. She made our experience 100x better because she talked with us and empathized which isn't something you see very often. She was very professional even tho we were upset. My husband and I will only be there when she's there. This place has so much wonderful food and the service was excellent. I just hate that they changed my favorite dish. Overall 9/10

Table of 10, celebrating retired veteran who just graduated with her Master’s Degree. We sat at our table at 7:05, our food arrived at 8:17….COLD. The server tried her best to fix the situation but unfortunately the repairs didn’t do much. I’d never select this restaurant again and I hate that the celebration for this deserving individual did not meet our expectations. Executive Chef took the graduates cold food, “reheated” it, but it came back out cold again instead of remaking the order. Food wasn’t flavorful, definitely not Cajun. Our “catfish” looked more like tilapia and tasted bland. Desserts hard and not sweetened. Drinks weren’t good. 2/10 overall. Maybe ok for a simple night out but please don’t use this place for a celebration. Definitely not worth it.

Me and my sissy meet here for our sister date and we absolutely LOVE the food. The Peach Cobbler is my absolute fav!!! The Banana Pudding Icecream is FABULOUS. The lobster pasta is great but they are stingy with the meat haha. ?. My sister loves the bread pudding and King Crabs. Food is all around GREAT! Can’t wait to go back.

Food was not up to what I was told!! We paid $45.00 for a group to eat and the food was not worth $45.00 some of our group the choices were dry and over cooked. I had the pecan crusted catfish which was Great, but the grits were dry and the green beans were crunchy. Armadillo eggs were not even close, fried gator was great but the dip was grainy!!

Pass through Waco often coming from Austin and make a point to stop here every time I do! I've probably tried 80% of their menu and every single thing I've tried has been phenomenal. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I've never had anything but a fantastic time. The drinks are delicious, and the view is spectacular. If you are in Waco or just passing through, you should definitely stop!

Let me start off by saying this is hands down one of, if not, the best family owned restaurants in Waco! My husband and I have been to this restaurants multiple times. We have eaten multiple menu items on different occasions (Valentine’s Day and certain Baylor events).
This restaurant is the most consistent with their service, menu selection, and overall environment. Let me not forget to mention that beautiful view of the Brazos River we get to see everytime we come eat there!
It was my first time trying their Caesar salad. The salad was fresh and had the perfect amount of dressing on it. I also had the Coconut shrimp, which I’ve tried many times and is a favorite appetizer of mine! It is a must have when we come here!
The star of the show was this beautiful Duroc Pork Chop with a delicious maple sauce/glaze. It came with whipped potatoes and creole green beans. Everything was cooked to perfection! That pork chop was tender, juicy, and very flavorful! The potatoes were not dry and paired extremely well with the pork chop and green beans. The green beans had a nice crunch and were seasoned just right.
Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and their staff is very professional and friendly! Do not hesitate to come here! You’ll be glad you did!

My son was turning 13 and he wanted seafood for his birthday dinner. The place he wanted wasn't open on Sunday. Since he likes to celebrate on the actual birthday which was Sunday, I told him to look up a restaurant and let me know where he wants to go. He chose the Brazos Landing. I was excited about that, since I had not tried them since they bought or took over Buzzard Billy's. I've always loved this location and atmosphere. Since I am a local Wacoan born and raised I've seen this place as a few different restaurants. This one by far has exceeded All my expectations!
The entryway is always inviting with the fish and the curb appeal. We had a party of about 10 with small children, we did not call in our reservation and we were seated right away. In a perfect location with plenty of room. This was a Sunday afternoon around 2:30.
Our outstanding waitress was so kind quick and efficient! She was on it! We had two little ones that stay busy with us as well as the rest of the family. Some had driven in from out of town to celebrate this special day. All of our orders were accurate and absolutely delicious! I highly highly highly recommend the chicken fried steak! Just so you know I'm not a chicken fried steak girl but I am when I come here for now on. I recommend going during lunch hours so you can get the lunch portion at a fraction of the price. I believe lunch is only Monday through Friday. It is absolutely worth it! I would recommend sharing the dinner portion with someone or be prepared to take some home. My son got the seafood basket fried, super good crispy and delicious! The french fries are so good flavorful and crispy ! You have to try the coleslaw and hush puppies!!!! Mmmmmmm slap your momma with LOVE so good! Make sure you try a cocktail from the bar, the mixologist Jamie is a MASTER at her craft, or grab a beer if that's more your thing!
This is a great place for a date night, family dinners, lunch, birthdays or any occasion! They even have a patio overlooking the BEAUTIFUL Brazos River as well as a beautiful view of Baylor and downtown Waco!
After dinner we took a walk out on the Riverwalk behind the restaurant, this is a MUST! There was a turtle social going on! I couldn't count how many turtles there were in the water and there were all types of turtles and all sizes! They looked as if they were all on vacation hanging together. There was a giant turtle moving around pretty good mingling with the other beautiful ones.
Thank you Brazos Landing for providing a beautiful atmosphere and DELICIOUS food and drinks for us to celebrate my son's special day! Many blessings
