Excellent food and service!!! The only thing is that they take a while because they do everything the moment but it's worth it

Definitely will be back. The food is delicious and well priced. Order at the counter then find a place to sit. Parking is a bit tight. The outdoor patio is a beautiful place to eat.

My wife and I visited this restaurant while spending a couple of days in Waco, and we were not disappointed. Very friendly staff. Good food. Perfectly seasoned. Seafood Platter and Fried Short Ribs.

Visiting Waco and it was great to see cajun food near our hotel. Shrimp poorboy was great and well portioned.

The fried chicken is a must get, and the crawfish etouffee was phenomenal, this is a great place to eat if you are in the mood for some Cajun flavors.

Fried chicken & crawfish etouffee were SO good, only thing bringing it down is the red beans and rice and gumbo because we didn’t care for it, it’s good but not the best. but also this was probably the best fried chicken i’ve ever had

Stopped in on a Friday at 6:30 pm. There was only 2 cars parked outside so we were a little dubious but stopped in anyway. Ordered the Cajun chicken strips and 2 pc Fried Chicken plate with 2 sides (coleslaw and loaded mashed potatoes). Best fried chicken that I have ever had and the sides were good too. Cajun chicken strips were homemade, dusted with a Cajun spice: delicious but not super spicy. Owner/cook? Came out to the patio to see how we were - overall great service. Would defiantly come back again and try more items. By the time we left, the lot was pretty full.

I did not know what to expect coming here. But let me tell you it was a GREAT decision! I had the jambalaya and it was delicious. My wife had the trio and I tried each of them and dang if they weren't all amazing. Heck even the crackers were fantastic. If you are on the fence about coming here then go ahead and climb on over because this place is worth the wait. I will not miss coming back here when I pass back through Waco. Even my picky daughter ate all of her food.

The food is ok, I had better.. Their food is salty, Fried Okra, shrimp and chicken.. salty. Gumbo is just good, and I didn’t finish it. The ambience is flat and it doesn’t have that appeal. It didn’t really hit the spot. Maybe next time we’ll try the catfish basket.. we’ll see ☺️
