Decided to come here for lunch quick bite to eat, came through the drive-through. No cars behind me. The lady that took my order and took my payment was not so friendly. She definitely lacks in manners of hello, please and thank you. She asked me to pull up front to wait for my order. I did and I sat there and waited, and I saw where she was at the walk up window after about 10 minutes and had my order. I intentionally ignored her waving at me because I came through the drive-through for a reason, I did not want to get out of my vehicle. Ms. Grumpy reluctantly brought it out to me no smile and no thank you with an attitude as if I was a pain in her day because she had to walk outside. When she handed me my food, I said thank you. She walked away quickly, and I hollered out “have a nice day”. Management; please work with the staff on manners and how to crack a smile. It isn’t hard to greet a customer with a smile, especially when we are the ones that allow you to get that paycheck. They need to get some damn manners! And my coleslaw is a few days old. It does not taste fresh at all, so I will not be eating it. The atmosphere can make or break a restaurant - I don’t think I will return here again, I can’t stand rude people.

Church’s on East Waco Drive never disappoints. The chicken always comes out hot, crispy, and full of flavor. The biscuits stay fresh and soft, and the service is friendly every time I pull up. It’s one of the best spots in Waco when you want good chicken fast. Definitely my go-to.
