Jersey girl here...they definitely deserve 5+++ stars! Jalapeños sausage was off the charts, green beans had the perfect amount of pepper/spices & the BBQ sauce was consistent blend of flavors. Food & beverages delivered in a timely manner. Super friendly, attentive, sincere & knowledgeable waitress & owner! Keep doing what your doing! Kudos to y'all.

Food wasn’t that great. We stopped in around 2pm on a Friday and there was only one other table of customers, which was probably a sign, in hindsight. My pork nachos were full of gristle which was very unappetizing and made it hard to dive in and eat without taking extra precautions to not chomp down on a hard hunk of meat. Especially disappointing considering we ordered during lunch hours at a reduced price. Our server was great though.

Bbq lovers do not waste your time. The ribs were cold and dry as hell. The sliced brisket was jerky. The Mac and cheese was nasty. Way over priced for what they serve. Our waitress was nice though.

We stopped by after taking a tour of the Dr. Pepper museum. The place had recently opened for the day and was short staffed but the service was still quick. The person that brought the menus to us explained the situation and was a bit condescending when asking for our drink orders but nothing outrageous. When the food arrived we were excited it looked tasty but we quickly found the food to be bland. The brisket had no flavor, it was dripping oil, and not it the juicy meat kind of way. The potato salad is mustard forward so if you are not a fan of that style you will not like it. I personally ate one bite. The fries we got were the bottom of the basket fries that tasted like they were fried in old oil. We were not fans of the food but I will say the portions were large and you pay what you expect to pay at a BBQ joint. The sweet yea was honestly the best thing we had. The bar aspect of this place may be what it really has going for it but the food definitely feels like a second concern.

I used to love coming here, but it's been a few years and the food isn't as good as it was. My husband ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket, sausage and turkey, potato salad and okra. I don't think the turkey was real turkey... it looked like processed deli meat. The potato salad tasted watery and the okra wasn't seasoned.I had the Real Deal potato, which tasted good. Just disappointed with my husband's meal

Amazing food and staff. Very welcoming place to dine in. A must revisit soon again.Meet owner, Mr. Clint. Real down to earth of a person. A veteran himself. Had a little memorial service in honor of tomorrow’s Memorial Day. Entire place went silent and it was very touching.

We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. It was busy but we had no wait and were seated right away. We went with the Jr Varsity Sampler to share between us and oh boy did they deliver. We have at least enough for 3-4 more meals. The sides and BBQ were all delicious and our server, Cristal, was awesome! We be visiting again in the future!

I’m only giving two stars because the drinks are good. The Food OMG has fallen off. It was horrible. The waitress was awesome but the food has taken a turn for the worst. Please hire the old cooking staff back. I ordered lemon pepper wings they came out Burnt.I was told they were smoked they dipped in lemon pepper you could not taste the lemon pepper whatsoever, The toppings for the big bang nachos were missing and they piled a big beans on the Hobo bowl. I have never experienced any food that tastes awful to me in years. I will not be attending for sometime. Oh yeah, I almost forgot all of the beers on draft the marks were hot. The bar was dirty and they just need more staffing. OK that’s it. Yes you will stay at her 2 rating until the the food improves.

I absolutely love Coach’s, wonderful food, drinks, and staff. I live nearby and have become somewhat of a regular. Anytime I’m there, I’m always served promptly and have never had to wait long for food or drinks. And on that topic if I ever am waiting for food or drinks I’m always politely given a reason by staff (though it’s only happened once and it was about a 5 minute wait.). All in all if you’re looking for a good barbecue place in Downtown Waco with a great environment and friendly atmosphere. I’d recommend Coach’s Smoke every time.

Good friendly service. Sports bar type atmosphere with plenty of TVs. The wings were great. Plump and juicy. Larger than most wing places. Brisket, pulled pork, and the beans were really good. Definitely recommend if you are wanting BBQ in Waco!

I had dined here recently and had a very bad experience. Staff were aggressive and rude, and management was neglectful. From where I was sitting, I saw more than six health code violations. On top of that it took over an hour for me to get my appetizer after waiting thirty minutes for them to even take my drink order. Then once I finally got my food it was completely wrong. If I could give zero stars I would. 100% would not recommend.

I waited over an hour to be seated when it was not crowded at all. And then when I finally got seated waited twenty minutes for a waiter to even come over. I ordered a sweet tea with lemon, and they brought back a coke. Then I ordered fried pickles, and they were soggy and tasted like they had been sitting for hours. I never want to eat at another Couch's again. When I complained about the quality management shrugged it off and told me that I couldn't get a refund even though I ate none of the food. NEVER GO HERE!

It was our first time going. We really enjoyed ourselves. We had the lunch specials. The food looked so good and was delicious We didn't get to take a picture. That Georgia Peach drink was hitting!

Had a great time revisiting Coach's, it is definitely a stop we plan to make each time we visit Waco. Both the service and food is amazing here. We got the Ribs and Brisket with mac & cheese and onion rings. The ribs are so flavorful they don't need a drop of sauce on them. The brisket is also amazing but the sauce takes it to another level. My husband also enjoyed the Big Mac sandwich with pulled pork and mac and cheese on it. We each got a house margarita, I added peach to mine and it was absolutely delicious. On our previous visit we got the baked beans and chicken wings and they were also delish. Definitely recommend this if you're stopping in Waco. Parking is also a breeze for those wondering, and it's a nice walk if you aren't too far.

Food was correct, warm, and tasty. Server and wait staff could have been more attentive. Dining room was quiet although bar area was more rowdy. Both pulled pork & brisket were good. Definitely recommend the cheese balls.
